why arent you using arc or ball of lightning and EE for the -50 fire res?

or even just lighting or cold damage on a ring and proc EE with shield charge?

Once you get them, go the to the highest LEVEL map/zone (preferrably a Shaper portal or last zone in Oba's Cursed Trove), Desecrate the ground till you see a corpse of your spectre. Press and hold "A" to target corpses to check. Once you see the needed corpse cast SPECTRE on it. This way you will get HIGHEST LEVEL SPECTRE of the same kind and he won't die as much, as well as will do much more damage too :)
Don't forget to remove SPELL ECHO before you desecrate, or you will suck in unnecessary corpses around.

How do you get highest level spectres when the desecrate gem is not leveled up? Your build doesn't have a lot of dex, so how do you do it? A level 3 only get about level 28-40 monsters.

What's the purpose of using Spell Echo with Spectres (body armor)?
It's not linking to other gems used.

I think the spell echo applies to the spectres spells. So faster casting speed and twice the casting, but a little les dmg per cast.

I find it impossible to desecrate. Are specific location necessary to do this? And what gems to link them? I'm just bored of SG's...

Thank you for the build. I made a few adjustments but my char is mostly based on your build and I just got my first uber elder kill using this thing. Sorry to say I had to brick two sets to do it, but I think I could have done it deathless with more practice. The successful try I had only two deaths, the last of which occurred when me an elder killed each other simultaneously. I just had to port back in a grab my indigon.

Trying to figure something out. I just respected from a Skele/Spectre to this build.

I noticed that when anger and weakness are turned on, commander of darkness is not procing. Its because of the generosity support gem. Based on your build I can't see how anything at all is procing Commander of darkness unless I'm missing something?

I mean I think Commander of darkness is proccing for the minions, but it would anyways without generosity if I understand it correctly.

I'm trying to figure out what Generosity is doing in this build? It doesnt work for anger or hate since those aren't ally buffs?

Oh wait, I see. Generosity is there to increase anger.

The problem is we then lose the +20 resist. I guess that's a fair trade.

You killed him on Standard i believe?
