hey dude,
thanks for the build and sharing your experience. as a hc-player i got a couple of questions and i got no clue how to search only this build thread - so, sorry for that in advance. anyways, as already mentioned i play in hc league and i was wondering if necromantic aegis is worth it, because i would pref to just get a Lioneye's Remorse and having 200 more hp and 2k armour. also, i do not like to charge into a group of mops without a shield just to get that elemental equilibrium proc - to me this just sounds like suacide in hc.. so my questions are, 1. is it worth it even in hc and whatelse should spend these points on the skill atlas if i decide against it. perhaps more life and armour nodes from the maurauder start? what would you do if you want to play realativly save? thanks in advance for your help, and sorry if someone already asked something like this. best regards, a necro fan :) | |

I've followed your guide as closely as I could, and it looks like "most" of my gear is similar to the guide, but PathofBuilding is telling my my Spectre's Beam attack (Solar Guards) is doing 79k damage. When I look at your build's POB, it shows about 227k. The Fireball attacks are even worse: mine are 130k, while yours are 756k!!! I was able to take out the Shaper, with a good Aurabot in support, only dying once. Seemed fairly fast, but I'm not sure if I'm ready for Uber Elder. I'm not sure I follow. The character is Desdemona_Deville.
She's using Vis Mortis and the Helm has 20% minion damage. I agree some of the jewels aren't as potent as the guide's, but I put a lot of emphasis on +7% life on many of them, as I was getting 1-shot/off-screen way too much. Total life is 7.2k, and ES is 1.2k. Do the jewels make that much difference on damage? I used my last few skill points for some "Life and Armor" nodes. I'm wondering is I should use them for "Minion Damage and Accuracy" and "Spiritual Aid" instead? There are 3 available that add +35% to minion damage, and +70% to minion accuracy, if that matters. The build is quite fun to play! Even with this level of damage, it clears T15 maps easily, and T16's aren't too challenging until the Boss shows up. In parties, I have no issues at all. I found this jewel, and thought it might be interesting:
