whats better Solar Guard or Drive slaves if i dont have gear? need for comfortable map clearing/bossing

So with vis Mortis and bones no longer giving + spectre, we are down to 4 now?
3 from 21 gem and 1 from notable.

I'm following your guide and I'm in love with it!
Although I can't understand how you can activate 3 auras at the same time, like Elemental Weakness, Zealatory and Clarity. Actually I'm only using EW and Zea, and I can't figure it out how to use Clarity.

KamahLx Your only suppose to run Clarity @ Gem Level 1. That way it only reserves 34 mana.

You're not really running it for it's mana-regen effect, but instead to make sure you have at least 1 Aura affecting you as well, so you get the benefits from the Commander of Darkness Ascendancy passive, most importantly the free 20% all resist it gives you, putting less of a strain on your gear to cap your resists.

What do you all think about running a Devouring Diadem?

I used an Aura calc to do some Math and with the right setup we can reduce our Mana reservation to only 68% with minimal investment. It would allow us to ALSO run an Aspect (possibly Avian or Spider) & Mind over Matter with the built in Eldritch Battery & some ES on your gear.

If we Anoint Sovereignty onto our Amulet and put our Zeilotry & Ele Weakness setup in the helm.

Do you think it's worth it considering you'd be losing out getting a Psudo-5or6L Skeleton setup in your helm?

I would say so for two main reasons:

#1: The option to instant summon an Army with Vaal Summon Skeletons is a lifesaver, in either a tough boss fight or a Blighted Map.

#2: If you have a From Dust Jewel they are SUPER easy to resummon on demand if they either get taken out or expire, meaning that for longer end game encounters like Shaper or Elder they are more dependable than Zombies (at least in this build).

Additionally I think they are a bit faster to engage enemies than Zombies now, with that extra Dash skill they seem to have been given recently. I frequently see my Skeleton Packs dive off the edge of my screen to hunt things down, which is something I've never seen Zombies do very much.

they are infinite and do not require corpses.

I have a question, would it be ok to move the raise specter gem in to an elder bone helmet with:

+3 to minion socketed gems
socketed gems are supported by minion damage
socketed gems are supported by burning

would it not be more damage than a standard 6L in chest?
