[3.6 Video Guide] Winter Orb CI Occultist

Can anyone help me understand why Vortex is linked to CWDT and immortal call? This seems odd. I would have thought it would be better to link increased duration to support immortal call since the build doesn't generate any endurance charges for immortal call to increase its duration.

Any way to make this build with taking the Frigid Wake ascendancy for the freeze immunity instead?

I know it seems odd but first it goes well with the whole cold theme. And second and more important it is a guaranteed chill therefor a life saving slow. Since the changes in 3.6 with all those es leech nodes I think it is still usefull but not mandatory at all.

Hey, may i ask why you actualy play this build differently? I started to build it by pob, but as i can see, you take a lot of different roads and nods now. Are you just testing it, or it seems to be better after patch changes?

I am at start of mapping, but as i can see from your equipment, it is decently playable even with "trash" items and 4link. How you are with survibility and single target damage? At the end of story, it started to be a problem for me. My equip is totaly crap level, but i am interested which tier of maps are you currently able to farm without visible problems? Thanks for build. Hope it will be great with all suggested items- prices on marked are now just crazy to even think about any of them..

self answer- it seems that you are not playing WO, so that will be reaon for different spec

Def. pref the CwC Ice spear at the moment, seems to be the better pack clearer. Switching to Conc on bosses.

Basically doing T1-T6 maps, no real damage problems no real survive problems. Just need higher tier maps to drop. Although extra damage couldn't hurt, my gear is still pretty basic.

Skiip, fortify will never proc on your flame dash, only attacks.

Yep. I did noticed, just didn't replace it yet.

Btw levelling with Whispering Ice should def. be in the recommendations, it's super easy.
