[QUESTEN] The Memory Eater (elder)
Hello guys,
i have a questen about the quest the memory Eater 1-10. how do you guys do the 5-10 fragments? the red tier ones. I am doing the map that is shaper influenced than i get it elder influanced and do it again for the fragment but that's kinda expansiv the more tiers i go up (like i am doing tier 13 right now and 1 t13 is 5chaos, so i have to pay 10 chaos only for the fragment) Is there an easier way that i don't know about? that no one is answering means no one knows a better way?:D

What I do is that I spawn Elder and then do the memory fragments
unfortunately, there is currently no way to avoid annoying map trading when chasing Elder influence. playing high tier maps is not for free IGN: Eric_Lindros

You can either buy the maps that the influence spawns on or spend a lot more time trying to get the influence to shift towards maps that you already have.
Buying them is easier. I suggest that you craft your maps that you do have and when you've corrupted a map and it becomes something you cannot run sell it. The sold maps will offset the cost of buying the maps that you require. You can alternatively trade with friends/guildies or make more than one character so that you can run anything with at least one character. Once I'm in Red maps, I'll usually; quality to 20%, alc, Chaos until high quantity for higher tiers comparative to map pool, vaal. If it's still doable, run it. If it's no longer doable, drop it in a tab to sell. Just don't vaal something you couldn't run... because unIDed maps are part of a challenge and are better ran for that purpose and less likely to sell unless you can tell the buyer what the mods are. When I need a map, I just search for maps that do not have certain map mods. Yeah, they can get expensive at higher tiers but you're buying one every so often not buying all maps... hopefully. I'm not claiming this is the best or only way. It's just how I do it. Where there's one they're bound to divide it right in two.
