What's up with those they've been from 30 to 37 chaos since yesterday. Any idea or maybe just regular market demand exceeding what people are selling ... any idea ?

Blame Octavian on Baeclast. He said something like "even if they would be 60 chaos, I would buy them regularly". Or, you know, people farming these things nonstop since league start may have stopped, thinking "maybe I'll enjoy the rest of the game for a bit".
Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

Delve isnt profitable so much as it is fun. After 5 years of non stop mapping now made worse with elder/shaper influence and sextant mechanics, people want to do something that takes thought and is still novel.
It does not help that syndicate is a total flop outside of act content so its easy to see why players would converge on the most enjoyable segment of the game. I dare say outside of breachstones and sulpite scarabs very few people would spend time farmign syndicate in act content. " Yeah i was thinking about that most people farming those in acts would have enough currency by now (a be bored out of their minds too) so with that logic price should keep getting higher and higher as people will turn to delving more and more and farm those less and less. Managed to buy one at 40c earlier (with most people not responding and the official trade API going to shit) and it was a GLORIOUS feeling to get 1 node in a 130+ quant T16. |

Maybe the sudden demand in sulphite was due to the recent youtube Guide of Engineering Eternity about Fast Fossil Farming... Similar to "Mathil Effect".

Octavian last night was being a smartass and saying how he predicts that scarabs are going to cost 60c and he will still buy them. 10000 people saw that video and since then prices jumped from 30c to 40c instant and they keep rising. All that in 1 day since the video. After i saw the video i knew shit's about to go down and rushed to buy scarabs. Guess what, i couldn't find a single scarab for 30-35c. Octavian is correct though. At 30C they were such an easy profit machine...

Chaos is worth a whole lot less than you think it is. That's why you think these scarabs are over-priced. They're not. If anything they're under priced.
