When you dont have icreased dura and other support for Winter Orb you will be slack on channeling it all the time. It's cold skill, only phy and chaos can poison (you can deal chaos from ascendancy but its not pernament), Cold So you cant use EE node. For spell its Bladefall can work nice i will test it, its work almost same like RoA but its a spell.
you can test RoA just feels so much better in my opinion

What about "Minion Damage and Life Leech" (Minions Leech 0.2% of Damage as Life) combined with "Ghost Reaver" (Leech Energy Shield instead of Life)?
Wouldn't it work?

no because minions cant leech to your life. its the same with totems

Using the helmet enchant and a new ring will still be the main goal for endgame, the ring will be there only for budget version

I do not understand the need for leech in every possible build now. Of course ES leech is a novelty but the leech got a nerf and ES works well without it. Will be useful on builden with degen, generally it is overrated

For most spellcaster their build won't change and leech will just be a bonus especially from the tree so it's very good for them
