So I was thinking of running this build as a league starter in 3.9.
Is it viable as an assassin or a trickster? I was messing around abit in PoB and it seems fine but is there a synergy that Im missing not running elementalist?

After the WORB nerf and Trickster Ghost Shroud nerfs i am not so sure about this.

You can safely unclick shock here as you shock effectiveness will be none as a trickster.

In the "other effects" section in calcs PoB it says my chance as a trickster is 74% to shock. 5% from non-crit and 100% from a crit. doesn't that means I can still count on enemies beeing shocked? Effective critchance 72%.

I'll add that I love the guide. I'm merely trying to make it work as a trickster :)

it's about shock effectiveness and not about chance to shock. By default POB counts shock as literally 50% more damage, while in reality it might be next to zero. For elementalist it's at least 15% which is granted by ascendancy.
OVerall shock is a pretty complicated mechanic you can read about it here.

To cut it short: For elementalist, shock always applies at least 15% more damage to any bosses. For the rest of the classes it might be as good as 1%.
