What to do next with this lvl 47 Elementalist passive skill setup?

Hi all,

I am a beginner who would like to get into the game. The problem is that I did an oopsie and followed a 3 years old Flameblast totem guide which is probably very much outdated now.

I would love the resulting build to be able to do at least most of the endgame content. Levelling a whole new character is something I would like to avoid.

What should I do next with this setup?

I have been using Firestorm mainly. I dont think I have any really noteworthy gear.

Storm Brand is a strong build from 3.5 that is quite fun to play. There are a number floating around, including both Templar and Witch, and even Shadow, since the build tends to use the top of the tree.

Another option is https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1147951. Arc was nerfed a bit in 3.6, but it was so OP that it should still be totally viable.

You will have 20 respec points by 70 from quests plus some orbs of regret. Could definitely move to this or similar. Question is whether it's worth the hassle of trying to gradually make the migration.

In the grand scheme of things, the amount of time it takes to start over is fairly small compared to how much time you'll spend in the end game if you enjoy PoE. On the other hand, going through the process of carefully planning your migration will force you to learn things about the game and the tree that will benefit you in the long run. You can do it either way, and either way will take a little effort - it's mostly about how you want to spend your time.
