[3.7] Divine Ire Trickster - "Can't Touch This" - 56% Spell Dodge / 67% Evasion / 39% Block

Here you go. I feel like it was kinda sloppy but it's an uber elder kill :)

What shield would you recommend other than the light of lunaris? Shaper/elder shield?

I'm new to crafting with that stuff any stats I should be looking for if I go that route?

It's tough to find anything else that can come close to competing in terms of the DPS that Light of Lunaris provides - the crit/mult/cold dmg all synergize well.

A crafted Rare shield however will likely provide more in terms of defense.
Personally, I'd go with a High-Armor shield. Something with at least 2000 armor, rolled with life/resists if necessary - with at least 30% block chance for your Cerberus Limb. A 2000 armor shield provides 400 additional ES with Cerberus, which will outclass most pure-ES shields you can craft - and the additional armor is not negligible at all.

With just a decently rolled Granite Flask of Iron Skin, and Vaal Molten Shell + a shield with around 2000 armor, you should be sitting at well over 10K armor. That's an 8000 absorb shield for about 12 seconds whenever you pop Vaal Molten Shell.

Thinking of giving this build a try on HC, would you recommend a rare shield over Aegis with the changes to VMS?

I'm tinkering in PoB to see what suits my preferences, and I'm toying with the idea of going with an evasion/es chestpiece and see how much more ehp I can get vs Perform Form. I'm less concerned with spell dodge vs physical hits especially in Legion.

Just getting started with the build. Feels great, very very tanky. Should I get a Watcher's eye or what upgrade do you recommend next? I have about 7 ex.

A well-crafted rare shield will outperform Aegis - the on-block ES recovery is somewhat wasted since our armor is low, even with a Granite flask (10k armor is only 200 ES restored on block)

However, it's ridiculously good considering it's usually like a 1C item, whereas a good crafted shield with 2K+ armor, 30%+ block and resists or life is expensive.

For Shaper/UElder, the 5% max cold resist on Aegis can be good, however.

Keep in mind that losing Perfect Form will also drop Arctic Armor, not just Phase Acrobatics. It's not the biggest loss, but that's still 13% less both physical AND fire damage taken while stationary - which is a hefty chunk when also combined with Infused Channeling and Tukohama pantheon, etc.

A good rare hybrid chest will, however, provide way more EHP. I personally crafted this for my Legion character:

It provides roughly 774 base ES as a Trickster, which is higher than any Vaal Regalia - In fact, I don't see any for sale on PoE Trade higher than 750. I'm CI though - for life/hybrid you can't get as high EV/ES since you need one prefix roll for Life.

Getting your aura gems/all gems to 20/20 are probably a priority. You should be able to buy lvl20 corrupted auras at least pretty cheap - you're losing out a lot of damage with lvl9 auras.

Watcher's Eye is obviously a big boost - but you may want to also consider upgrading your belt to a good Stygian Vise. Abyss jewels are very strong and the more you can get, the better.

I was leveling my gems when I posted that. I'm working on getting them to 20.

I'm gonna buy an Stygian Vise then. I'm feeling really tanky, yesterday I killed Shaper without losing a single point of HP, but I'd like a tad more damage. Which stats should I look up to for my abyss jewels, other tan life or ES? Also is my amumet fine?
Did 1-81 in a day, this is such a fast leveler and I'm having a blast so far! Here's my take on the build.

Gear below, I threw a silly amount of money into it and there's still so much more I can do.

I've been keeping an eye on high armor and block shields but they really aren't popular so not a whole lot to choose from. I found one with 2k armor and 30 block but that's it, no other stats like life or resists. I do want to kill uber elder this league so I'll definitely keep the Aegis on hand and maybe try and craft my own shield as a long term money dump.

Got lucky and found my chestpiece for pretty cheap, Legion mobs dropping Temple items is so amazing this league. Going to try and craft a better helm once I get more currency, ideally I think I'd want to go for t1 life, -chaos res, and then multimod flat ES, % ES, and a double resist.

With max level gems and my current gear and planned tree, I'm at about 2.5m average hit (assuming Arcane Surge procs vs bosses) and 8400 ehp by lvl 96. Still tinkering with the tree and gem slots. My chance to hit is really low so I got one piece of gear with a high accuracy rating so I can proc Fortify reliably, and with ECOMs and the changes to Shield Charge, I can also proc endurance charges reliably as well which is nice. Instead of two dps auras I use Flesh and Stone in sand stance for the blind and reduced damage taken as well as AA.

I'm debating dropping Ethereal Feast and one or two damage nodes so I can get Purity of Flesh, that'll give another 20% chaos res and push me to 9k ehp.

EDIT - lol, playing around in PoB for fun, and screw the shield for a long term project, it's a chestpiece for sure. Shaped ilvl 86 sadist garb with 120+ life, t1 % evasion/es, 10% damage taken from mana before life, lvl 1 arcane surge, 2% crit, and ES on kill. :D

Hey guys, was thinking about respeccing into this from ED/Contagion. I just experimented a bit with my Perfect Form and got a 6 blue socket one. Is it worth keeping and how would I set it up with gems? Any help is appriciated!

Crit Multiplier is typically the strongest stat, followed by Flat Physical Damage to Spells.

Life is also a priority for me. I try to have a minimum of 35-40 flat life or 5-6% life on every jewel I use.

Your amulet is fine, but I'd definitely Divine it to 13%. 3% may not sound like a lot, but the Extra Damage modifiers are really huge in this build - that 3% alone is probably more like 5-8% total DPS.

Yea, 6B PF is quite valuable and even if you don't plan to use it, will likely sell for enough to just buy another 6L PF. If you want to use it, you can sub out the Hypothermia gem for something else. Candidates are Elemental Focus (biggest DPS but you lose ability to freeze, not recommended unless for bosses), Controlled Destruction, or Inc. Critical Strikes/Inc. Critical Damage.

Uber Elder down first try! I had already killed him a bunch of times in Betrayal, and the fight was very sloppy on my part, but I got him down anyway. Didn't drop anything tho.
