" Windows Error Reporting, Event ID 1001: https://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/3116.event-id-1001-windows-error-reporting.aspx So it is POE. And not something like a faulty nvidia or AMD file or a faulty dll. (2) Can you please select the "Details" Tab and take a screenshot, or several screenshots. For more information? (3) I don't have your DXdiag txt report. Can you provide one by posting your DXdiag txt report into a pastebin.com url? Based on that, try using the 32bit exe in the Path of Exile installation folder (the exe without the x64 in the name), and report if there are still crashes. And if there are crashes, can you post those Event Viewer details as well? Thanks. The rest is up to GGG. If your PC/Windows is still alive and working during/after the crash of the POE.exe, GGG should receive their internal crash log. @ Thorkail is a different thing because his PC seems to lock up, and POE does not appear as a cause in the Event Viewer. But that does not mean that POE does not cause the lock up. |

" I went through your DXdiag (1) You have Windows 10, please use the Troubleshoot option in Windows, and see if you have luck if Windows can find a problem related to the hang ups of the whole PC when playing POE. Click the Windows Start button > the gear wheel for Settings, to open the Settings window. In the Settings window type "Troubleshoot", its the third entry with the wrench. In the there, down the 2nd half is "Find and Fix other Problems" There is "Blue Screen" option, go from there. (2) When you are already in the Settings window, search for Display and click the "Change display settings" Half way down there is a link to "Advanced display settings" Please change your display Hz from 59 to 60. I could not let that fly ... (3) I assume you have your Games and POE installed on the SSD that is C: KINGSTON SH103S3120G SCSI Disk Device (a) please ensure that on that SSD, that there is 40GB free space on it. One for the page file. And two for performance reasons. (b) please download from Kingston their SSD tool and check that your SSD is healthy. https://www.kingston.com/en/support/technical/ssdmanager (c) after there is more space on the drive free and you checked its health via the Kingston tool, please go into the Windows Explorer, select the C:/ drive (SSD) > Properties > the tab "Tools" ? and click the Error Checking / Check Button. Let the check run through. Further, lets trim the SSD. In the same tab you will find the "Optimise" button. A window pops up. Select the C:/ SSS drive and click the "Optimise" button for a trim ( https://searchstorage.techtarget.com/definition/TRIM ) (d) Run PackCheck again, or via Steam Verify the Files https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/18531 (4) At the end of the DXdiag is the "Diagnostics" report, taken from Event Viewer et al. You can go through it yourself with the help of Google, eg "AUDIODG.EXE" why does it show up? And "PathOfExile_x64.exe" shows up with "AppHangB1" Fix: AppHangB1 Error - https://appuals.com/apphangb1-error/ & http://windowsproblemssolution.over-blog.com/2016/04/steps-to-get-rid-of-apphangb1-problem.html Glimpsing from a further Google: TRY (a) disabeling (not starting, kill the task through task manager) firewall and antivirus (b) disabeling (not starting, kill the task through task manager) tuning tools for the gfx like MSI Afterburner (c) Use the 32bit exe for a lucky try (in the Path of Exile installation folder, the exe without the x64 in the name is the 32bit exe) (d) Double check that you have not fiddled around with your Windows Page File/Virtual Memory. Let Windows manage it itself. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-performance/how-to-increase-virtual-memory-in-windows-10-a/46dacaf5-15cf-4f5d-9d5a-cba1401ae4c9 (e) Windows has a Windows file checker tool too (like PackCheck but for Windows) let that run through: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/929833/use-the-system-file-checker-tool-to-repair-missing-or-corrupted-system The only thing then what I have left to offer (if it is not POE itself), is to either do a fresh clean Windows 10 installation or use the Windows 10 reset option: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12415/windows-10-recovery-options#section3 |

" If this is the case, then you had manually changed some settings, that POE+your computer did not like (the hang up + auto restart (see Diagnostics in DXdiag & Event Viewer log)). deleting the production_config.ini and starting POE, POE starts with standard settings determined by GGG. You could only try and reproduce it by changing sound and gfx settings, you think you had before. If you can reproduce the hang up with a certain setting, it is worth posting that here, as well as emailing techsupport @ grindinggear.com Последняя редакция: RPGNoobANKA#0714. I have tried everything I can find on this forum to try solve the problem I have with the crashes.
I get theese 4 error messages at the same time when the game crash. https://imgur.com/a/yKC7iV8 And I got not an old system aswell... AMD ryzen 5 2600x 16gb ram nvidia rtx 2070 Samsung 970 EVO 500GB I had like 1 crash every like 5 hours at the begining of the league and since yesterday I crash nonstop and it doesnt matter what I do, tradeing, open a chest, killing mobs, running around and so on. Everything is updated to latest version on the computer, Im now playing on a fresh installed standalone client with all settings resset to default. I've played on steam all other leagues without problem since this league.... Последняя редакция: squexence#0904. Время: 17 мар. 2019 г., 14:20:27

Guys your computers are fine, they introduced this problem in 3.6.1 with the betrayal encounters hotfix IMO. Is happening to everybody in slightly different ways but it's the same crash over and over again across the whole forum. We just have to wait.

@ squexence
Can you please post your DXDiag txt report via pastebin.com url document? Thanks RE Exception Error unable to create index buffer Do all in this order: (1) Go into Windows settings for the page file/virtual memory and let windows manage the page file automatically. ( https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2456615#p21775983 ) Windows Explorer > This PC > Properties > Advanced System Settings > Advanced tab > Performance button "Settings..." > Advanced tab > Virtual memory > "Change..." button And set it to System managed size. On your fastest drive which should be an SSD. Alternatively, 3x RAM, fixed eg for Windows 10 64bit: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/2860880/how-to-determine-the-appropriate-page-file-size-for-64-bit-versions-of btw if you use Windows 7, stop using Windows 7. Mainstream support ran out 2015, and security updates will stop Jan 2020. (2) Free up space on your SSD. 16GB for the page file and 20% for performance. (3) Delete the production_config.ini in My Documented/My Games/Path of Exile Edit: AND the ShaderCacheD3D11 ShaderCacheD3D11_GI CachedHLSLShaders Folders in the Path Of Exile installation folder. Maybe even the Logs eg Client.txt (4) Do a Trim on the SSD. (see instruction in a reply above) (5) Run Pack Check ( https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/18531 ) (6) No overclocking: Neither the RAM, the CPU, the GFX card. (7) shut down pc for a cold restart (8) Run POE, in those standard settings (because we deleted the production_config.ini) leave them as is, without macros, no background programs, no chrome, no torrent, disabled firewall/antivirus. (9) Don't use MTX for this run. /edit. Последняя редакция: RPGNoobANKA#0714. Время: 17 мар. 2019 г., 15:16:38
