One solution to this is whenever you upgrade bow to the next stage of better bow, use your old bow for whichever skill you end up using less.

Oh yeah i see, tbh i haven't done this build since Legion, and at the time only TR was enough for clear & bossing, im just surprised that it's not the case anymore ahaha

Toxic Rain will clear by itself fine, you can try out Caustic and see if you think its worth it. It'd not a requirement by any means.

It's still fine, if you're satisfied with how it played in legion.

Just since arrow nova was added a lot of streamers started showing off "look how big clear I can make with CA + arrow nova" and ofc you can't make TR THAT big and I don't think it functions with arrow nova.

Also for delirium the strat was shoot once, move forward, never look back, and the delay on TR could be annoying because then you'd have to backtrack to loot (tbh for me it was still a league of backtrack due to various corpse explosions and whatnot, and you were on a timer, waiting for them to go away I'd rather just backtrack and loot after).

Both of these skills (TR / CA) can be played as standalone builds, people use both because if these have different strengths and weaknesses you can swap around and cover all the bases, since both function with nearly the same talent tree (maybe for pure CA you'd pick piercing shots instead of master fletcher, and not stack enormous amounts of duration just chaos damage / multi).

No.
You would have to change the whole build for it to work.
It's as if you took essence drain build and asked can you play with with blade vortex instead. Well nope, they're completely different skills with different mechanics.

I haven't seen split arrow being used outside of bleed builds (gladiator mostly) or mines (https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2784747). But they're completely different builds.

Bow crafting didnt changed since Metamorph right? so i can use your guide? or is there an easier way to craft the perfect bow?

It might get easier due to harvest crafting. Looks like they are going to reveal them all today so we'll find out if it's easier now

I imagine the new harvest crafitng options will yield an easier method to produce a Bow of equal or (hopefully) better DPS. I'll post again when we know more.

omg its gonna be so easy to craft a gg bow....


I cant see a reason to use "multiple craft" on a bow at this point except maybe ur first bow to get u going.

Crafting options look pretty nuts this league, gear should be insane.
