Idk, why Vertex helmet doesn't work? I placed there Malevolence, Discipline and purity of elements now. Using purity and malevolence atm ( levelling). But the amount of mana reserved after i changed the helmet from shitty rare to Vertex haven't changed !!! I didn't see this -50% to cost of skills.
Was this option wiped from the game according to auras? TypicalDemon advices this helmet as a best one, i bought it for 2 ex (top rolls) but i don't see it's working.....

That helm reduces cost of skills, it does not reduce mana reserved, so that's working as intended. If you want to reduce mana reserved you could get Alpha's Howl.

Might be a stupid question but how do you manage caustic arrow offhand i'm not sure i get this point

It gives +1 to socketed gems which includes enlighten, so when you get enlighten socketed it reduces mana cost of auras.

The helmet is advised as great for tricksters because it gives a lot of ES / evasion, which is nice, and the +1 to gems is not bad either.

Plus usually it doesn't cost 2ex outside of first week of the league.

You want a helmet that lets you squeeze extra auras, try devouring diadem, 20% reduced mana reserved. It also gives you eldritch battery though (turning energy shield into mana basically), so beware if you don't like that effect.

It will be better, but that bow you linked will be good enough to do all the content. Whether or not you should go for a new bow depends on the state of the rest of your build.

As for CA, you don't need to use it if you don't want to. TR can do everything just fine. I use CA sometimes to clear maps because it feels a bit faster, but I don't keep it in a weapon swap, I have it in a 5 link on my chest armour.

Loving the build so far and having a fairly easy time in red maps other than some encounters. Gear isn't great atm but i'm pretty much waiting until the cluster jewel change before I do anything big. I've got roughly 10ex to play with, what should my main focus be?

When I was in your position I went like this: +3 bow craft -> 21 TR -> +1 amulet craft -> Vertex -> Corrupted Blood jewel for sirus -> Dying Sun -> CDOT quiver/gloves

I am almost awakener 6 and killed sirus a5 deathless yesterday.

I am also waiting for the cluster change and already have all the bases I need to try some crafting other than that pretty broke but that is where my money will go until I try to upgrade something else.

i was just wondering, do you use CA for single target or just Toxic Rain for everything?
