You could try with aberrant fossil or the chaos mod from garden. Except chaos res I don't think there are many "trash" chaos mods you can hit.

+1 amulet and get despair somewhere - despair is a huge dmg boost.

Build is doing great so far, but for pushing that real end game damage should i prioritise awakened support gems over the Empower Lvl 4 and + Dex and Chaos ammy. I am also loathe to allocate points towards the 2nd large cluster jewel even though it gives so much damage as I would lose a good chunk of Es and Hp (plus the ability to run flesh and stone).

Anyone that's gonna try the harvest boss make sure you have reduce mana on your rings/amulet.
I fought her without and it's a serious pain in the ass.

Your bow is good, i have the same bow pretty much and killed Sirus a8 a few times and the harvest boss.
Try to craft or buy better cluster jewels, get more life. Personally i don't see why not use Carcass Jack as your body Armour (the large Aoe on it makes your pods overlap = more damage).
If you don't like using Despair manually you can use Profane proxy ring (skitterbots) to auto apply despair for you or Maloney's Mechanism quiver with curse on hit + Rain of arrows/Frenzy + Despair or Asenath's Chant helmet (I've never tried that one though).
*also get an abyss jewel with onslaught for clearing maps.
Right now IF your 5 pods overlap you are at 2.5M Shaper dot dps which isn't bad.

In no way bows this league should cost over 10ex when you can minimize the only rng element which is getting attack speed on a dot multi bow, which you can target with harvest add or replace speed mod.
