I used this build guide in Harvest League and had a blast playing it, most fun I've had in a build honestly. I was toying with the idea of going PAthfinder but I think I'm still gonna go Trickster after all. Maybe I'll try CA with it this time, I used solely TR the last time I played, had no problems with it, maybe down the line I'll give the weapon swap deal a shot though? Just gonna have to see how it feels I guess.

Would this bow work?

Awakened gems should be stronger than non-awakened alt-qual. Especially swift affliction for 10% chaos dot multi.

Toxic rain basically you want lvl 21 no matter what so I usually end with 21/0 gem anyway. Getting 21/20 or 21/23 alt qual is a luxury if anything. It's probably more expensive than it's worth, only buy if you have no other upgrades left.

I haven't played the last two leagues because my problem with POE is that as new leagues are introduced the leagues just gets more complicated and the learning curve rises too steeply.

I've decided to come back.

Yesterday, I spent a few hours with this build in SSF standard just to see how well it performed. Within that few hours, I was in Act 7 and only had one death on a boss, all with very poor gear and only a 4L bow and chest.

I have always had a problem understanding crafting, because it's not simple and even looking through guides, it can be daunting.

This seems pretty straight forward.

Im just going to do the original TR 2 cluster, 1 thread of hope build as ive only only played the build once so im not burnt out on TR yet but deadeye and occultist sound fun too, thatll be a project for the month2/3 of the league.

With all the info now and the OP being back and reassuring us of the changes the only thing ill do differently is take swift killer for my 1st ascendancy and then respec those 2 ascendancy points when I do my 2nd lab, aside from that everything else will be by the book.

Ive played much tankier builds but this build just feels so smooth clear speed and damage wise, I love being able to jus fire a volly of pods and zip to the next spot, in blights I can just stand on the npc and fire endless volleys in all directions, same with delves, just a great overall build.

maybe a dumb question but I cant figure out how you sustain or get your frenzy charges up due to not using the expensive quiver anymore?

I mean I think you can get "frenzy charge on hit" on your chest but is there another way of getting it early in the league?

Just socket in the Frenzy gem in some place until you can get another way of frenzy generation :)

Get a second bow with +2 arrows and whatever + level gems you can get for CA. And put CA on your weaponswap + a quiver with +1 arrow. You can also use dying sun. With all that you dont need gmp and the clear becomes quite a bit smoother and faster than using TR.

Hey OP it seems the level 50 tree link is the same as the level 30 one, can you update when you get the chance?
