Ya @HellBoundI as I understand it our biggest dps gains are from increasing the level of toxic rain, hence the +2 global mod ammulet, and then getting a proper endgame bow with +2 to socketed support gems b/c that counts as 2 more levels when it boosts empower.
Im just using a lv3 empower myself atm b/c I was waiting for the prices to settle a bit, they are insanely high starting out first couple weeks. | |
" Yeah, that's why I didnt bought the lvl 3 cause my bow is the 2bow 1 soqueted one etc not the +2 support one. I was unsure what is better damage wise cause its rly hard to calculate on pob. Shame the ingame tooltip dosent show crap too... Anyway the lvl 3 is dirty cheap now Ill test it to see and work on a new ammy. Thx again! |

Amulet then quiver and gloves is probably better upgrade for now. Bow to be worthy changing you'd need to go for double dot bow preferably on thicket base and that might cost you over 10ex. Another thing is the links in your gear, for example you have no multiple totem support on wither (which allows the totems to be placed 2 at once), you can despair as self-cast I imagine? You could try getting despair on hit ring for faster application of despair. You could also invest in second medium cluster since you have only 1 atm. Awakened swift affliction is good too, no idea how much it costs this season, but the quality on it gives 10% dot multi so it's worth. About empower it becomes mandatory once you start using +2 support gems multimodded bow. As long as you have +2 bow gems one you can delay it. Tbh biggest impact on your damage is uptime on wither and despair, so be sure they're always applied (that's why I suggest multi totem and quality it, spell totem too, quality on both makes totem placement faster). | |
Ya idk what the prices are right now but id look for a thicket bow with t1 damage over time multiplier, from there you can multi mod and cannot roll attack mods and then exalt slam to gurantee +1 to socketed gems, you then have a BiS endgame bow ready to multi mod.
Its pricey though with a 5ex mat cost so id weigh that against current prices, when i made mine they were like 15-20ex with bad extra rolls so was a no brainer. " Hahaha yeah I feel you. I'm playing with 2 friends that are completely new to poe so my progress this league is very slow (need to constantly teach and guide them through out quests, old league complicated (betrayal...) stuff etc) so every ex counts for me lol. |

No luck on the Malevolence or Life Regen influenced mod but cant complain, this is the finished product;

I don't get all the posts from people saying they've put a handful of exalts into this build and are getting destroyed.
Here is my gear for reference (RSC). I've put approximately 10 exalts worth of chaos (farmed/chaos recipe/selling rares for alts) into this character, and have used this build as a league starter for the past 3 leagues. I'm building towards the 2-cluster tree setup, with a slight deviation in that I'm not taking the thread of hope because I'd rather have the extra dodge chance over an extra 30% ES for now. |

^My last post got cut off.
I'm running T12 maps with no problems (no higher tiers have dropped yet because taking time to collect bosses for Maven slows atlas progression a bit). 3.9k life, 1.6k ES, 91/60% chance to not get hit by attacks/spells. 4M DPS w/o wither, 6M DPS with full stacks (non-Sirus DPS, cut these numbers in half for that). I haven't died once yet, even when trying to push my survivability with curses and +crit chance/extra damage map mods just to see what would happen. I farm T15 beachheads for exp without even needing to touch any flasks other than Dying Sun and the bleed one for corrupted blood every now and then. PM if you have any questions, I have a decent amount of experience starting this build and levelling it to 93-94 with relatively cheap self-farmed currency budget. |
