(3.14) Toxic Rain + Caustic Arrow | 5-10m Sirus DPS | Fast + Durable | 50c Budget/SSF Uber Elder
Hi I'm interested in playing this build.
1. I have about 4 ex only so what should I get first which will make the most out of my char? 2. Is this build still good for 3.8? 3. Why trickster over PF? 4. What are some levelling uniques which are good to use until I can afford those rares? 5. In your build it says to use discipline, maloveance so its 100% reserved. I think it only works later on in the build. What do you suggest while levelling? 6. What nodes on the passive to rush for first? I'm thinking acro and phase acro then master fletcher but idk where to go thereafter. 7. What ascendancy order is good? Thanks. |

" For gear, skip buying anything expensive until you're into mapping. Same as every build, really. Pick up a +gems 4L bow for cheap as soon as you can use it, and upgrade to a 5L when you can use that, same with 6L. Once you're into mapping, pick up everything in cost order... so I'd start with the helm and boots, then chest - keep in mind you don't need a 6L for this. Decent rings / ammy / stygian / quiver etc - I didn't spend more than 5c for each of those until late game. Your biggest purchase should be a +3 gems bow - probably with crap affixes other than the +2/+1 prefixes. Those cost about 2ex at the moment, and probably cheaper by the time you get to where you can use it. Definitely still good for 3.8. Amazingly well put together - tons of damage, very smooth, defenses that just don't stop. Trickster gives us ghost shroud, escape artist, and patient reaper. Those 3 give us a decent damage boost, which we don't honestly need, (still nice tho!) but absolutely killer defensive layers. This setup lets us play much more aggressively than any other ranged build I've tried. I used this as my league starter, so leveling gear was hard to come by. Goldrim? Quill rain? I use malevolence, discipline, and a low level clarity. Your plan for the skill tree is what I did as well, minus the acro, because I went with The Perfect Form over QOTF. After completing all the stuff to the right, I went up and hit Atrophy, the filled in all the points around the top and left. Honestly, it didn't seem to make a huge difference - this build is strong enough defensively that you can concentrate on DPS mods most of the time, and it levels FAST, so even if you make a mistake, you can usually rectify it within a few minutes. For Ascendancies I did Patient Reaper, Ghost Dance, Escape Artist, then Prolonged Pain. Current league IGN: Teldra_Anc_LAD
Feel free to message me in game if I'm on. |

Is there any way to increase damage if you don't have the currency to upgrade to a +3 bow and only got a +2 short bow? I even have corruption on my amulet but my damage is really lackluster in T14+ maps and Blight encounters are getting almost impossible.
An other thing I'm wondering, how is it even possible to run 3 auras and a VP bow in https://pastebin.com/xFE0BXn9? Toxic Rain still costs 6 mana with a clarity watcher's eye but the build only has 2 mana and 100% reservation. The Build still uses a double - mana cost ring that doesn't exit in Blight Последняя редакция: Sttorr. Время: 29 сент. 2019 г., 7:37:07

Just want to say thanks for the guide. Did this build for a league starter and just now did Uber Elder deathless, first time I've tried it! (though I've been playing PoE for a while). It was considerably easier than doing Minotaur lmao

Get my first level 100 ever with this build, thanks!

What about quiver with +1 arrow? Worth it?

"Personally I'd say one with increased area of effect (rolls up to 15%) is probably better value overall. Afaik added arrows just increase the spread of the ability but doesn't increase the overlap (i.e. effective damage). Increased projectile speed could be good QoL as well to reduce delay between shooting and dealing damage. But in general it's a slot where you can just stack defensive stats. Life, evasion / es, resists, etc. Wouldn't overpay for fancy mods, having a yellow quiver being solid defensive stat stick gives more leeway to what kind of gloves, amulet, belt, etc. you can buy. | |
Love the build! But Ive got a question.
What would be the perfect Mods in Rings/Belts? I saw alot of people use "Increased Chaos Damage" and then just multimod. So does that help the DOT aswell? |
