Cyclone + CoC + Fortify not working

For some reason my cyclone does not have fortify connected to it. I am currently using cyclone-cast on crit- increased critical strikes- hypothermia- ice nova- fortify.
I'm not sure if it's just me or something, once I put on cast on crit, fortify no longer applies to cyclone and I'm not sure why this is happening. Am I missing something? Last bumped26 мар. 2019 г., 15:06:31

If you meant the fortify support gem then it's likely conflicting with the trigger gem CoC - even if it works with cyclone by itself, the trigger disabled it automatically.

omg I JUST posted this. Wish I had seen your post.
I swear this did NOT used to break like this. The guide I've been following even uses fortify with CoC. I think this is a bug, since cyclone is NOT being triggered by Coc and is being cast directly. " CoC is definitely disabling fortify. As soon as I remove CoC, fortify works with cyclone again. But cyclone is not being triggered, and should still grant fortify when cyclone is used normally. Never used CoC like this so personally have no idea if it used to work. I wouldn't trust patch notes to include all the changes, because it's a fact that they don't. But if there are guides that use xxx-CoC-fortify then yeah, likely yet another bug or ninja change. Perhaps they just decided "if this link has a trigger and this thing here can't be triggered then disable immediately even if this thing should apply to the other thing that is not a trigger".

I'm inclined to believe it's a bug, because if you look on poe.ninja/builds, there's a lot of people that use fortify (specifically those who are doing CoC cyclone), and they're lvl 96 etc. I whispered a few and they said it used to work but for some reason no longer does as they looked at it after I mentioned it.

It's a bug for sure, in 3.5 it worked perfectly, i am using exactly the same build (CoC Ice Nova with Cyclone). |

If you're wasting gem link for fortify in Cyclone CoC build, you're doing it wrong.
