Chat is unnecessary for PS4

Did I miss something? Did PS4 get a chat interface, or news of one in the works?

If so, where is the information?

If not, wtf is the purpose of this thread? To bitch about things we do not have?

If that's the case, I'd like to add a bitch about XBOX not having the option for autoplay while I sleep. Seems just as relevant of a gripe.
