Well, based on what other people said Disintegrator is fine, so I imagine that Shimmeron will be fine as well (as it is basically same thing, except that we actually have lightning res, but we do not have phys reduction so should be even better, I think?). Also, with Ghost Reaver, leech should handle it.

But Cyclone works with wands ? Or am I missing something ?

Been playing this build since league start and loving it! I'm currently mapping at lvl 81 with 3k ES, and although my damage and clearspeed is great I get oneshot regularely. I leech nicely, but I Feel like I need to up my ES by a lot.

This is my first time playing CI and I'm having some trouble figuring out what I should upgrade to get a nice ES boost. Can someone take a look at my gear? https://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/YoeriGod/characters (character is called RMBSimulator).

I have yet to actually incorporate defensive skills in the build lmao, so I'm gonna start doing that as soon as I log back on.

So, biggest issue is obviously you are not running Discipline. You absolutely need to run it on CI build. Ideally, buy Vaal Discipline for few secs of immortality.

Also, CWDT + Immortal Call

If you are just starting and not planning to upgrade to Disintegrator soon, also Shield Charge + Fortify and Sceptre/Dagger + Shield will provide you with plenty of EHP.

Isn't comparing These two Degens harder than you might think?

Disintegrator is on gaining a charge... Depending on your gear choices thats just linearly stacking.

Shimmerons is doing damage on Crit per Charge... Isn't that stacking up much higher much quicker?

Disintegrator is on gaining a charge... Depending on your gear choices thats just linearly stacking.

Well, you get Siphoning charge when you use a skill, so, you can basically assume you have full stacks all the time, but yeah you can control it with more or less shaper/elder pieces on gear. And it is phys dot.

For shimmeron, you start taking the dot if you critted recently, so, again you can assume it is active all the time. And you can control it, kind of, with taking more or less power charges (what is giving people less control I guess, but you still can). And it is lightning dot.

So yeah, imo it is basically same effect on both (as both are dots, and you can't have more than 1 instance active).

But as someone already pointed out, you cant use Cyclone with Shimmeron, so rip dream for early progression :/
