[3.21] Vatinas' Spiders + HoP Guardian - CI, 70K armour, 1400 ES on block, millions of DPS

Hey,
guess its time for my first Forum post now!
Im playing this build with a few small changes and had no problem with any content yet.

Currently im lvl 95 and farming t16s, shaper and elder. im at delve 220+ (for the 6 Link).
Blight maps can be a bit tricky at t10+ but its mostly about setting up the towers smart.

changes i made:

- removed the golem (dont rly need the extra damage he gives) and took spirit offering into a cwdt for QoL)

- i use a precision aura lvl 2 (for the extra accuracy)

- for movement i use whirling blades + faster attacks + culling strike (feels way smoother than shield charge)

- i took the foresight node in the skill tree for having a good ES boost.

- went for a circle of nostalgia with -40% reduced mana reservation and +97% increased agony crawler damage

- watchers eye with reduced extra damage from crits while affected by determination

- Pantheons i use Arakaali (for reduce shock and chaos dmg over time)
and Shakari for the Poison imunity

- got increased flask duration on my belt to support my flask setup

- my flasks are:
1) wirthing Jar
2) Experimenter's Sapphire Flask of Staunching
3) Experimenter's Ruby Flask of Warding
4) Experimenter's Topaz Flask of Dousing
5) Experimenter's Granite Flask of Iron Skin

Flask 1: mandatory for spiders!
Flask 2-4: 50 extra resis for maps with lower resists or bosses who lower
resistances. also giving 20% less damage taken for every element
which gives a huge amount of tankyness!
Flask 5: Shit tons of Armour to increase the ES we get per Block!

So my Defense looks like:
9200 ES
88% Physical Damage reduction
97220 Armour
75% chance to Block Attack Damage
75% chance to Block Projectiles
75% Block to spells
20% reduced damage taken (Fortify)
75/80/75 resistances with 129/155/147 overcap
20% less damage taken for every element
77% reduced extra damage taken from critical strikes
(watchers eye + sanctum of thoughts in the skill tree)
Imune to:
- Poisen (Pantheon)
- Stun(cyclone)
- Freeze and chill (Dream Fragments)
- Burn/Ignite: Flask 4
- Bleeding: Flask 2
- Curses: Flask 3

maybe some of these changes are interesting for somebody and help :)

well here are some things u really need to handle:

1) get ur resitances capped! ur having only 59 fire res..

2) u need a "lethal pride timeless jewel" with kiloava! to get ur block to 75%

this is absolutley mandatory to get the tankyness with recovered ES from ur shield!

3) Annoit Deflection on ur Astramentis amulet for more tankyness!



4) try to get some of the ailments handled by ur flasks..

right now ur getting demolished by: bleeding, ignite, burn and curses!

think about replacing one of ur life flasks by a granite flask for having more armour! which results in higher physical damage reduction and higher ES recovery from ur shield!

5) replace both of ur ghastly eye jewels with some that got Energy shield! u not need life on them!

i think with these changes u should be good to go :) but feel free to PM me if u need more help!

hmm hard to say.. atm im at 250 or smth and not having any trouble. so i think u can go quite deep with it since delve is not getting that much harder at all after that...

Hello, ive really enjoyed playing this build the last couple of days. Just hit lvl 92 allmost 93.

Im at delve 272 no problems there, uberelder downed deathless. Farming tier 16's without any problems. My gear is not minmaxed at the moment but i wanted to share my progress with those intressted.

Ive kept the tree you suggested and added precision to bloodmagic. The placement of the gems is deliberate in my case. Carrion golem has the anoying habit of killing the worms from the flask not spawning in any spiders. So with a quick weaponswap he's gone as are any leftover spiders from random kills with not enough corpses around. Now i can just desecrate and get a new batch and carry on killing.

As for pantheons, i took Arakaali fully upgraded and i swap abberath and shakari depending on the content. The minor god abberath is a lifesaver vs the blight dogs that drop burning ground.

My lethal pride is nothing special, 20 strenght on Arcanists Dominion and 20% physical damage on Enduring Bond.

Watchers eye i want to upgrade with the clarity mod aswell, will probalby happen some time next week.
