How do I get more than 3 Auras going? From what I see you're running

Hatred, Precision, Anger, Haste.

Also, Discipline or Clarity or Wraith.

How can we run over 3 at the same time. I realize cast when hit but that doesn't account for all of them.

I just can seem to get a hold of the new league mechanic...Does it get better later ?

I think that now this kind of staff is better than +2 fire with Fortify as this "+2 to level of all spell skill gems" is global (affects Anger, Wrath, Hatred, Carrion Golem, Discipline, SRS, Flame Dash... etc):



Even if u can hit +2 to all spells with fortify on Elder staff (good luck) it is still not better (at least in PoB), especially when you consider lvl 4 Empower as a 6th link. With this setup one can reach lvl 30 SRS gem.

The only staff that would surpass that thing is +1 to gems with +2 to all spells AND Fortify.

Im also currently testing this build in standard as Life with EB/MoM using Devouring Diadem. Im @3.2mil Shaper DPS with 7.5k EHP and some block, but its still kinda squishy (however not as much as a 'base' hybrid version). Im using Kaom's Heart with some ES gear to balance life/ES ratio (5k life + 2.5k ES).

I doubt it will surpass Fortify staff. The mod is not available in pob yet, but once we have it i would compare the numbers for sure.

It's not bad, but less damage

Hi angry_roleplayer,

So I have been using your guide this league and i've been struggling with a few things and I also have a few questions.

This particular league with the blight mechanic I have noticed that my SRS are getting spread too thin and just do not have the dps to do blighted maps; when there are several lanes of creeps coming towards you, the SRS's just doesnt have the stopping power to kill them all before they get to the middle. Now this may be due to me picking the wrong towers, or focusing too much on them. I don't know.

Another issue is obtaining the staff. Your method of creating your +2 fire +20 fortify seems to be patched out of the game, so currently I am settling for a +16 fort 5L staff until I can afford to upgrade. Even with this staff I feel very underpowered. It leaves me wondering how you were able to do such high end content.

Another thing I am confused with is your choice of flasks. Why do you go with taste of hate? I am not too familiar with it nor do I see it fitting too well into the build.

Now on to the passive tree. Is there a reasoning behind not getting wicked ward? It seems like it would be useful for this build.

What do you recommend for the notable on your amulet? Currently I am using diamond skin because it is cheap, but once I get an astramantis i would like to get something better. Any ideas?

Do I need the gems to be linked? If they are all auras and all in this armor. What is the benefit to having them linked together if any?

Also is Discipline working off curse on hit when you Arc and doesn't need reserves?

If I can't get a VC should I wait on necromancer aegis?
