[3.13] SRS Necromancer (2021 Edition) Build - 5M DPS on 1EX budget! Uber Elder DEATHLESS in 3 days!
Are we using zombies in end-game build or just leveling? If just levleing, why not use them with meat-shield support? Even with no specific investmens zombies usually theal 50-100k dps per minion.
Hi I started the league with this build and am very happy so far. I'm just about to start yellow maps and its demolishing with no investment (I rolled a really good convoking wand and I'm using the frenzy shield atm)
However I was wondering where the builds top-end lies and if I'm going to make the investment if I should swap to spectres or another minion type. Normally the answer is pretty straight forward but with minions having so many new things I havnt seen a clear cut winner like cyclone last season.
I'm blight softcore and while I really just want to be as strong as possible I'd like SOME tankyness.
I hate the mana reserve chest so I was thinking of dropping an aura for something like a maim chest with maxlife/life % altho I dno if maim works (srs hit with physical right?) I see that people are using fortify staffs but I'm wondering if dual wielding convoking or that + shield would make up for it so i could get some more life on my chest

Fortify gem is over 30% more damage while each level of srs adds about 10%. Even with Maim chest, you need really good wands (+1 all +1 minion) and dual wield them to surpass +2 all Fortify staff.
Victario Charity shield is very overrated for srs. It's ok but as srs replace themselves when they reach max number, the charges won't be carried over new spirit. I prefer spectres for frenzy charges generation.
Staff setup also allows the use of Victario Influence, so you can have more auras (and they are stronger as well).
i appreciate the response! so its good to know i can invest in a high-tier staff for BiS. i still hate the body armour cuz no life but ill see if theres any magic i can do later, maybe with devouring diadem and without an aura or something, but at least i have something to go after that i wont feel may not be worth it :D

Have you tried to put some Chaos dmg in the build ? i'm running it on my amulet and with Atziri's flask atm.

and what about on amulet ? the elemental to chaos dmg ?
it does nothing to minions. Only minion damage applies to minions
