Hey Beer, awesome guide! I've got a few questions, first thing how should i go about crafting a wand like yours, i'm new to POE and i dont fully understand how crafting works yet. Also could you take a look at my char and tell me what my next upgrade should be? not sure whats best to invest into now that's gonna boosts my char the most. Thanks in advance for the help!
No problem.
First, you have one jewel socket that is empty and a second that isnt adding anything at all. Try and get those fixed asap. After that, you will need some fire damage somewhere to proc burn to get that extra crit multi.

Yeah i should buy betters jewels, what are the best stats i can get? lightning dmg and crit? other than maximum shield. And isnt the fire dmg on my ring enough to proc the ascendancy thing?
Yes, on the higher end, watchers eyes are very nice as well.

Okay heres my take.
This is the only build Ive played that is able to tackle delirium fog and blight with a breeeze! Its insane and im loving it. Not to mention im doing tier 16's at lvl 76 (Granted I have decent gear but still...)
If it wouldnt bother you Beer could you inspect me and tell me what im missing besides the obvious levels.
Boss killing is taking time for me, like alot of time compared to normal mobs.
My guess would be I can quality my gems and maybe add in cluster jewels when I level more? But will that push my dps on bossing alot?

Just wanted to pop in and say I really love this guide.
I've been frankensteining for two leagues off of half-baked guides (last league was arc+pyroclast, this league is ball lightning) and I really appreciate how the OP clearly covers all of the angles I considered as I worked through (Sources of multi-curse, trade-offs of LL and CI vs life based).
Bravo. Very well done. Thanks for the inspiration. Gonna try GC and IM now.
Only thing I'd add is that Brutal restraint + Kintsugi's + decent dex with MoM *can* get you quite far. I tried to make the leap to CI from it once already and just never could get comfortable with it. I think it requires you really push your damage (Just got my Awakened Added Lightning damage, and am comfortably working through Simulacrums, T16s feel silly, Insta-phasing Sirus) as a defensive measure, but otherwise it's a decent setup.

Gear is looking good. The first thing I would go with are some new boots to push your ES higher. After that you are looking at getting more expensive upgrades to the rest of your gear for more defensive stats.
Gem levels can add a lot as well.

Innnnteresting. My only gripe with it when I tried last league was that the cascade didn't really go where I wanted it or far enough. I'll read through the guide, but one thing I really like about BL is that they just kinda cover the screen and go where you need them. Plus CoTB is just lovely. Never needed more Single target (though those simulacrum bosses are kinda crazy tanky) and AoE enchant kinda made clearing a joke.
Edit- not seeing much on GC here... do you have the same applied to Icicle mines?

Gearwise, what would you have to change? Obviously Helm (enchant), Wand (+ Cold Skills), Watcher‘s Eye and Awakened Penetration Gem - but other than that, we‘re pretty generic by scaling Elemental and Mine Damage.

Hatred for wrath as well. It really needs a GG dagger as well for it to work well.
The only issue with GC imo is that it really want a gem swap. Inc aoe for clearing snd conc for bossss. That said, I don’t think anything out there can rival it in dps with good gear.

Thank you very much for your detailed guide, I am having an absolute blast with it! I switched over from the life version with Tremor Rod and the LL version is better in any aspect.
I still feel that my damage is lacking, but I can't really see the reason why. Could you possibly have a quick look at my char and suggest possible upgrades? My wand is probably not the best and I am looking for better boots at the moment. Any other suggestions?
