I have both Awakened Elemental Focus and Awakened Lightning Penetration support gems, Elemental Focus is showing a significant tooltip DPS increase over Light Pen, is this correct?

" When leveling, it using icicle - icicle, trap and mine, swift assembly, controlled destruction, pierce / chain depending on your preference, and cold pen With that said, mines are so OP through the campaign that it honestly doesn’t matter what you slot as long as they work with your mine skill. |

" Tooltip never takes penetration into account at all. Check PoB. Unless you have boot pen enchant, wise oak and a pen roll on your weapon then light pen is better. |

Hi, thank you for the detailed guide! I've always wanted to play a miner, and so I did this league.
This is my very first miner, I'm also not that good at the game yet, I'd like to ask for more advice on where to proceed from my current state. I'm still learning about crafting. I've never really crafted my own gear. 1) I'm aware that I need to swap my rings out for more ES (I just followed the guide and wasn't cought up in the comment section) 2) I still need a watcher's eye 3) Still need helmet enchant 4) +1/+1 combo on weapon For the tree I just followed the LL BL pob. I'm not sure if there have been changes to it yet. The rings and some levels should get me to at least 9.5k Anything else to set as a goal? Also, how do people get those crazy corrupts, like the one on your shavs? It's a double corrupt right? Do you 6link a shav then double corrupt and just pray for a good outcome? It's just that i'm still learning how to make currency, and that just seems so tedious and costly. | |

So I finally made the switch once I saved up enough ex for Machina Mitts. Here is my new PoB using Glacial Cascade:
https://pastebin.com/h7RQsJfN Everything I've done, I kind of did on a whim of what I felt would be better, like my tree and gear and skill links. My ES is sitting at 8.2k right now and I'm really unsure how I would go about pushing for over 10k without dropping at least ~70ex. The only ES upgrade from my stygian vise + abyss jewel would be a 140 ES rolled crystal belt, and dropping my shaper ring for higher ES rolls would be reasonable but it'd sacrifice my DPS slightly. What links would you recommend using GC, and if not GC what skill do you really prefer using? I feel like Ball Lightning just doesn't cover enough area for me as I'm a fast-paced mapper. Thanks! |

" That’s the right path, with some levels you should break 10kES without too many issues. On the corruptions, generally I just farm currency and buy them outright - this league has been especially profitable and i was making around 2ex an hour just mapping. No crazy drops, just a lot of raw currency and stuff that sold for a few dozen C. Also sold probably 60-70ex worth of maps throughout the league. |

" I took it to HC a few leagues ago before ripping around 98 I think. Did all challenges with it though. Few suggestions: 1. Born in the shadows is a must 2. Double curse setup if you can afford it is great. 3. Drop wrath for grace 4. Use a rumis in place of one of the dps flasks 5. As with all HC builds, be careful of what mods you run on maps |

" On the ES side of things you are missing a ton of ES on almost every piece aside form your helmet which is serviceable. It all adds up. Neither ring has a t1 ES roll, nor does your belt. You are missing %ES on all three pieces as well. They also have no quantity from catalysts. All in total that’s 35% ES and around 120 flat ES. Your shavs is missing 30ES or so, divine that thing. Boots are on the low side as well, 50 more ES there should be possible for pretty cheap. 220 flat ES and 30% is close to 2,000ES total. I would make those changes ASAP. For GC - Best links are GC, high impact, trap and mine, conc effect, swift assembly, cold pen. Can swap out conc effect for increase aoe for mapping. BL is comparable in terms of power, id pick whichever you prefer skill wise. |

tried mine field support instead of swift assembly, and omg, it is so much superior! malachai just insta die as well as his hearts.
And as I feel I have lot of places in my gems' setup, I made chaos golem with culling stike, fast atack and feeding frenzy.
