[3.13] HC/SC/SSF All Content Miner - Any Mine Skill - LL/CI - 12k ES w/ Videos!
I dont understand how it is only a 5% DPS nerf to the build since there were ALOT of changes in the Skill tree and crit was nerfed alot aswell. Oh and would this build be viable with Fireball since it got buffed? Or is Glacial Cascade / Ball Lightning / Icicle still the way to go?

Would you guys say it worth picking up 100% increased area on the tree to mitigate the dps loss from slower proj nerf and thus still get the 13 hits from a cast? It would probably mean like a 1k ES loss most likely, but stacking Area seems very beneficial as it increases both single target damage and map clear at the same time, so its a nice double dip on the usefulness of the stat. (before aoe would just increased map clear, not single target)
I never played the build so i'm not sure if that's something worth considering. EDIT: " BL had a max number of hits = 13. It was never able to do 18 hits. browsing your info, and things seem a little mixed up with older leagues etc, would the leveling bits (gem tips etc) at the bottom be valid for the new league? wondering best way to proceed. | |
" The 5%-8% is from the tree. Thats about what you will lose in total dps from the crit multi nerfs. The changes to BL are pretty much a wash. Fireball is not viable IMO, there isnt a good way to shotgun with it - clear will be good, but bossing will be bad. GC/BL are still the way to go |

" Interesting, if thats true, then BL actually gained 25% dps and lost nothing. Sab miner already gets 60-140 inc AoE for free (60 at zero mines, 140 at cap) That means we pretty much always will already be at 100+ AoE and will be hitting the max cap of 13 hits w/ just slower proj. If true, thats pretty big. I'll do some testing to confirm though |

" Hmmm, you say sab gets 60 AoE at 0 mines. But Explosive Expert is only 30% and there is no other AoE on sab. Bomb Specialist is only 4% per mine and if i would have to guess, you dont normally have more than 4-5 mines placed at a time, except when you can preload mines before boss fight/during phases. That's in total ~50% inc aoe at best just from being sab, or am i missing something? If we actually have the 100% inc aoe somehow - that's awesom :D But if we dont - my question would be - do we try to fit the remaining inc aoe to get both better clear and better single target from hitting the hit cap?
