First of all, thanks for the guide! I've been trying this build in the current league and having fun. It's my first mine/ll build, so a few things are still unclear to me: What's the optimal way of dealing with bosses or strong packs? Throwing mines till the cap, pressing detonate and immediately continuing throwing? My gear is not high-end just yet, but I feel super squishy, sometimes get one-shot and the recovery is terrible without machina mitts, the delay before recovery is killing me. What are the defensive layers here, besides stacking resistances and ES? And, unfortunately, the ll low-light is too annoying for me, so a point in Arcane Vision wasted | |
" No, I’ve just been gambling on those trying to hit penetration. It’s a crap weapon. Going to try as soon as I can find a good GC weapon though. |

" Packs you should one shot with a mine or two, for bosses, throw the full stack then detonate. If they survive the burst, then just keep spamming throw and detonate. Best way to mitigate the problem is Vaal discipline until you can get the mitts. |

Just changed from BL to GC. Did couple Contracts, one T16 Grand Heist and one T15 map. Seems about as good as BL. Freezing the map boss feels very good. I tried to get some ideas from poe.ninja and got some nice gem suggestions from there.
I remembered helm enchant, amulet anoint, new weapon, most gems, most of the tree. I'm going to buy better rare ring and get Watcher's Eye. Perhaps better gloves. Maybe try to annul mana from helmet (and reroll it with fossils when I fail). I probably take Snowforged passive via Thread of Hope when I ding the next level. Do I have any glaring shortcomings on my character now that it's fresh GC miner? | |
" Looking good, I'm going to test it soon as well. Just crafted a very nice weapon and a decent helm. Will test out the AoE helm and the phys as extra cold. Only glaring thing would be that atziris is better than taste of hate, not by a ton, but it is better. |

ye i have crafted this ring.. i think it was the 3rd dense fossile and i dont wanted to reroll. Movement feels actually not that bad with dash ench and the flask :) |
