Okay, I don't know if it's my fault but after pumping in 10+ ex into the build I'm still unable to comfortably clear T14-T16 maps. I'm running aspect of the spider, machina mitts, helmet enchant, mark of the shaper with 7.6k ES and I still die about once or twice a map. I've started to consider rerolling because as fun as the build is, I just can't seem to be able to make it work
Your ES is way too low to support using mark of the shaper. You need max ES rolls everywhere, and missing all that flat ES is killing you. Giving it up abs squeezing in some more ES will get you around 9-9.5k which should feel much more comfortable.

I'm having same kind of problems. I do only have about 6,5k ES, but I think my gear is still pretty good and I'm getting one shot a lot more than I thought in T15-16 maps especially on metamorphs.
Bossing is really good though. Maybe I just don't play the build right or something.
Your ES is also way too low.
You are missing flat ES on three separate pieces, and not using moonstones is going to tank your overall ES score.
There is a section in the guide about improving overall ES. The build easily hits 10k on a budget, and it is certainly worthwhile to do so.

Good morning BeerLeague,
First off I want to thank you for the extensive build guide. I'm having a blast playing my pyroclast miner in this league. I'm not the most experienced at this game but it feels very strong IMO.
Im not having issues mapping currently by any means, but I am confused on what to upgrade next ( again not the most experienced ).
From looking at my build/passive trees etc., what would you change/upgrade next? Any massive flaws you see? I've been running tier 10-11 with little issue as long as I pay attention.

Can't really understand, what I'm doing wrong with this build.
Clear is ok, but I primarily wanted to do the bossing stuff, and damage feels pretty underwhelming compared to my spellslinger flamewall character, which has lower investment and takes near the same amount of time to kill t16 bosses and kills conquerors somewhat faster.
Maybe it's some of my items, but I can't believe that this the case, cause Veritania took me like a minute and a half with full 19 mine blasts.
Really like the playstyle of this build, but can't understand what's the case with my damage output.
I thought about bad mine usage, unbinded detonate mines from LMB and stuff went much better, but this doesn't feel like my expectations.
I'm not talking about instaphasing bosses, but, compared to videos that were attached to the main post, my feelings are 50/50 rn.

Flasks are the biggest thing that stand out to me that need some attention. Need a dps flask or two in there and put quality on the ones you keep using.
After that its just smaller upgrades everywhere.

Few things:
1. Low gem levels are killing you. Need a 21 BL ASAP and 20/20 support gems. HUGE dps lost here. 21 BL is like 10c
2. Weapon is very bad - 10-15c gets you a better weapon.
3. No source of fire damage - 40% crit multi lost here - massive DPS loss. Get it on a ring.
4. No boot enchant - 7-10% lost DPS here.
All in all, you are missing close to 50-60% of your total dps with a few dozen C in cost (+ some lab runs).
