Did some upgrades, clearing maps feel much more faster now, raider is really good. Dunno what i can change now. Maybe i should upgrade my ring? Also is aspect of spider worth getting? |

Finally have the balls to attempt A8 sirius , fuck it up at his final phase but got him down at 1 portal left . Im sitting at 4700 hp atm , thinking of upgrading my ST by getting a 21/20 barrage . Anyone can advice if it is worth getting ? Got this dropped at a8 kill , no sword but better than nothing :P

" My POB says 21/20 vs 20/20 barrage gives me 15k more shaper single target dps which is tiny. From memory I also remember the tooltip having the tiniest of increases, so most likely the details line up to say: nope not worth the 4ex You'd see better investments by getting a 21/20 or 21/23 ice shot for sure if you wanted to up gems. In terms of A8 Sirus, yeah he's damn scary. I believe you preferred going raider but I'd say the bigger increase for ST you're looking for would be Deadeye's extra proj tbh (which is also good for all content anyways). But I'd understand if you'd stick with raider. Unfortunately I think defeating Sirus with more security would be investing into voidfletcher +arrow, fractal thoughts +arrow, circle of fear OR going another bossing character. But you could scratch all that if you wanted to stick it out with simply gaining experience. What worked for me was getting the clean intermissions: Memorise the voice lines that go with each attack so you know when the safest time to dash under him to phase him would be, for example "rain of stars" where the meteors come down would be the riskiest whereas "creation itself" would be pretty easy since the beam is a pretty visible zone of danger. Other than that I'd say having the patience for storms and ground effects to dissipate and investing in higher damage gear will allow you to see far less sketchy mechanics. Doing him deathless or with 2 portals becomes a pretty feasible reality unless you get unlucky with mechanics (random stars) The experience gain certainly the case for me to boss with my deadeye but I do still consider leveling my Saboteur up for bossing. |

Yeah the 21/20 barrage is a tiny increase, like .4% more base damage. I picked it up for 2x, they pop up at that price if you watch probably not really much of a deal.
I'm moving along, upgraded quiver last night, previously added the elder ring. Not sure if my current assmark ring is worth a multicraft but I'm probably going to as I've not really seen anything worth grabbing on the market. I do need the accuracy in that ring unless I start running precision or something. Not sure where to upgrade from here, sitting on 10x but that pile can grow pretty quick with a couple of delves. I already have watcher's eye: I have some dyslexia and get a little confused but overall do ok as I'm used to dealing with it. Currently at awaken 7 with 3 stones to go, about to grab one more now. Hey guys. I would appreciate if some of you veterans can check my build. I´m pretty happy with my clear speed, awak chain was really nice upgrade after awak fork (can recommend 100%) but I feel that I´m lacking in single target damage department. I don´t have tons and tons of currency, but I have something I can work with..

And yeah , im pleasantly surprised how doable Sirius is as compared to some Metamorphs if you know the mechanics well enough . And a tip if anyone sees this is to just go to Poe.ninja and see how top players gear and try to "imitate" their POB/gear and tweak around according to your budget. They are at the top for a reason i guess. Just my two cents . |

How would the Volley Fire threshold jewel work with Barrage ST on this build? It doesn't give any increase in PoB (doesn't work I guess, because the text is red). At work atm, can't check in game.

" Volley fire does not improve single target. it adds arrows simultaneously, meaning they cannot hit the same target twice, it is, however, a potent jewel for clearing. I have been experimenting with volley fire barrage - arrow nova, it is quite fun but not as good as ice shot.
