Great build OP. But I've reached a frustrating spot and I'm not sure if this is a normal POE experience (just started a few months ago). I'm currently level 90 doing T14-16 maps at Awakening 4.

My frustration: I'm unable to progress my atlas and level up at the same time. I've been stuck at 90 for a while - every time a get halfway to 91 I have to fight Baran and he kills me 3 times, or a try a tough yellow map or 83 logbook and die a few times. The only way I seem to accumulate XP is by sticking to very safe blue maps and staying away from Baran and the Ice chick. Then the XP gain is very slow and my atlas progression is stalled.

Is this normal? I'm thinking not, but I don't know if I've missed some easy upgrades or I just suck at playing the game (why not both?)

I have a few ex to spend - any advice from anyone much appreciated :) https://pastebin.com/yFFhLL2m for the curious.

Yes, you did. As mentioned several times in the last pages you are missing crucial jewels. Who said socket triple damage and flat ES abyss jewels in your tree? Nobody. Get cobalt jewels with crit multi and with 8% incr. ES. You are also missing around 200 ES on your shield and plenty on Gloves and Boots. You are also missing quality on pretty much all of your gems, you could as well get a watchers eye with the clarity -> ES mod...

I opened your PoB and you are running on 7k ES. Just for some perspective, I run with 7.7k on triple your damage and with headhunter and it is BARELY the lower end of ES I would consider viable, last league my Nr. 1 DPS Setup had 8.5k ES and if you focus less on damage you can reach something like 9k ES pretty comfortably on this char.
Thanks for taking the time to respond.

I think I'm such a new player I still enjoy leveling up my own gems, applying gemcutter stones when I find them, crafting my own yellow items, etc.

I mean, I bought all the necessary uniques, but I crafted my gloves, shield and most of the jewels - and am trying my hardest to improve on them. Rolling caster damage in harvest comes up the most.

But I guess I'm understanding that to beat the endgame you just need to buy everything you need and that's that. It's a shame because the crafting and harvest and expedition dudes are the most fun part of the game! But I get what you are saying - I need the correct gear and it seems crafting it seems will take forever. I guess it's back to the trade site... ugh

Check my twitch vod from yesterday, titled crafting.

I crafted t1 gloves and shield on stream for less than 80c total investment.
I've also crafted rings for 20c investment each.

Crafting isn't that bad, it's just how to go about it. For this build by far most of our pieces can be crafted purely with Dense fossils. This is great because dense are a common drop in delve and you can buy them in bulk for 1 - 1.5c each.

My shield, gloves and rings (rings are in my stash atm, need to fix resists), they're all made with dense-only method.

Another easy and common crafting is alteration spam. If you pickup low-inventory size rares in your maps while you speed around, you id & sell between every map and get 7-10 alterations each map. These are then used to craft stuff with.

I'll probably stream in an hour and see about crafting some more.

I am really sorry that I will sound "rantish" now, but sorry, are you serious?
You want to beat the endgame without even cycling ONCE through your gems? Cmon man. I have serious issues with an attitude like that. It is totally viable to clear the game on that char, but perfect gear to cruise through t16's, oneshotting conquerors left and right takes eigher time or currency. You sound right now like you don´t want to invest the former and therefore trade is necessary. League has a duration of 3 months, why are you in such a hurry to clear everything in 2 weeks?
I leveled this char until level 92 in high yellow and low red maps before I even attempted to go into t14's and upwards, as I give stuff time to develop. I cycled through my gems and did not buy a single one of them. I of course used trade for a good wand-base, the jewels, etc. but I crafted well half of my gear on my own, especially shield, one ring and the belt (the stygian vise for bosses at least).
You dont need to buy everything, and crafting is still the single best way to produce good items, but it takes time and currency as well. I hate it when people demand everything handed to them in like 5 days to just blast through the game. Just for a short insight, here is the gear i crafted on my own:

Relax, they are new and not everyone has the same knowledge/skill/time and desire for every single game

You can explain things differently without attacking how people expect a game to go
Updated the guide a bit with various visual changes and also updated:

🔨 Crafting section.
📊 Stats section.

Next is probably the survival tips section. You guys are welcome to bring feedback. I'm going to do a once-over on most of the guide and start slowly preparing for 3.16 as this current league is a bit boring with the tiny population ;P I will still stream and progress at whatever pace I can be motivated to login. The *deadness* of this league might also leave me some time to finally work a bit on Ytube stuff and try to grow my channel.

We at least *survived* 3.15 and we function well and clear the atlas, but we have very very few fellow players to trade and interact with in this current league, sadly.

Hi. Thanks for the build guide. It's been fun so far. I've been a bit worried about boss damage. I feel like Sirus will take me about 20 minutes lol. Wondering where I can squeeze out some more damage. The big differences I see are that I'm not using assassins mark and don't have crit multi jewels. I'm hoping the jewels will make it feel better.

You are lacking damage everywhere

- lower level, get 5-6 more in to reach around 95
- jewels - VERY big boost.
- no boot enchant - mentioned around 124 times in the last 5 pages.
- no +1 on the weapon
- no additional lightning damage on rings
- no trap throw speed on the belt
- no trap throw speed on the gloves
- no projectile damage on the gloves
- too early cluster wheel, mentioned several times as well that you are not supposed to grab that before 95
- wise oak not divined to max
- no bottled faith or other useful secondary damage flask

and why are you not using assassins mark as well?
