I'm now looking for tips to go further (DPS and survivability) , and i've got a lot of questions (sorry for my english, not my native ...) - My ES is 8100, how to go higher ? - Are my jewels good enough ? - do I Switch lightning Penetration for added lightning damage on my 6L ? - I use Blue Nightmare jewel to improve my block chance (I'm a noob crafter and shield with spell block chance + recover ES are tooe expensive) = is there a better way ?? Hi, a huge thanks for the guide. Had a blast during this league (last I played was Synthesis League so have been rooting around working out how ritual, legion, blight, harvest and all the alt-quality stuff works, along with everything else I missed lol).
Anyway, I have around 30ex (before selling expedition currency - so could raise more) to invest if I wanted to, and wondered if anyone had any advice for where to take my gear next? Couple of notes: - I went with crit strike with no ele focus and a touch of cold damage purely for my own QOL as I prefer the sound it makes over a pure lightning build with no elemental ailments. I would prefer not to switch to ele focus unless there is no other route for increased dps (it doesn't appear to add that much more in POB) - I went shield bash and flame dash for extra mobility and clearing speed pack-to-pack, while still having the teleport iframes on flame dash. This meant dropping curse on arcanist brand and instead picking up pen on the ring via conductivity. - res is an issue. I keep looking at the lucky Rog crafted weapon I got early on and wondering about switching to something with +1 lightning gems, but res is only just at cap and I can't see many places to get more. - block chance is 70/72 before tempest shield comes up, so while the watchers eye would be a good source of possible extra dps, would need to worry about dropping block chance, even if switching to divergent tempest shield for the +2 - I have one slam spot on my belt... " Okay, first of all, pretty good gear! Where to go from here: First of all, I´d take on your shield: Take the pref. cannot be changed and reforge it with Harvest Defense, that way you will always get the ES on Block but you are that far into itemization that you want another good mod. That could be a lot of things: - Resists in your case/if you struggle to finish them - Spell Block - incr. crit for spells - flat int for more ES - dodge chance if blocked recently - or, if you hit the jackpot, reduced mana reservation or shaper spell block Try to get one additional mod next to Regen. If you end up on 5 mods you can finish the shield with another int+quality craft to further the ES it gives. Secondary, Slam that belt. You don´t need to change quality, as with one of the latest patches they changed quality to not affect crafts. Spare yourself the money, it has no effect anymore. Third, in terms of gems, check if Lightning Pen might not be stronger than crit strikes. I think it is, at least it was for me. Went the same route like you did but checked my numbers in PoB and lightning pen was superior. You oversaw something very important - boot enchant. Get eigher Pen or, better, additional flat lightning damage. Yours is pretty much worthless on a build that crits so much. Bottled faith would be an upgrade in your budget. Slam your Bramble Grip Ring as well. In terms of Jewels: You have quite nice triple multi jewels, all of them without ES though. That leaves you taking an ES-Wheel in the tree. If you really wanna minmax your build you need to swap those jewels for triple multi + ES, then you can respecc that ES-Wheel and grab 2 more jewel-slots for more Multi+ES spots. In the end its like 150ex investment, but it gives you even more ES and Damage. Thats more of a future expense node. Aside from the aforementioned things you are pretty much finished, theres not that much to do. | |

I'm not super sure where to start next as far as damage upgrades go with bottled faith a little out of m price range atm, I know I have my lightning pen gem to finish, and a few levels before I can get the rest of my cluster jewel points, but I feel like my weapon is kinda of lacking but not sure what would be better, currently I'm working on a better shield but that's more so for defenses rather than damage. Any advice? level 92. |

" I see some easy points here: - Labyrinth enchantment for boots (lightning damage or penetration for damage, regen or run speed for defense) - weapon enchantment for ele damage instead of area - corrupted or doubled corrupted shavs (can be expensive) - gloves with advanced traps mod for throw speed - quality on gems will also help (quality + lvl21 for max) - rings can have some damage but that's minor |
