POB doesn't calculate your shock (you can google that), hence it just reverts to whatever default value it can find on gems if possible, as example if u have skitterbots it just reverts to that 19%, even though you obviously SEE in-game your shock is much higher on the bosses ( it's literally displayed under their names when u kill them ), which is exactly the reason they added the field where can input your actual shock. (which is visible on bosses since 3.15).

If you disable the manual shock field in POB, it reverts down to 19% shock.
Now if you disable the skitterbots gem, oopsy, now POB jumps up to 50%! default shock. So do you think you suddenly magically gained 30% shock by not using skitterbots? or that skitterbots LOCK characters at 19%? do you think anyone sane would use that gem then with crit builds? ... the answer is no:)

So I say again :D ... pob does not calculate shock.

And POB doesn't have to, since it's displayed IN-game since 3.15 directly under the boss name you're killing.

So, can we get 60% shock vs Sirus/Shaper? absolutely!
I showed that in the previous leagues and in the current league, I'm already up to 56% vs guardians (they have less resist, but my gear is also FAR FAR from the POB min/max gear).

I'm not wearing a corrupted shavs. (biggest item in a min/max)
My weapon has 2 dead mods (should have aisling multi and +1 or lightning as extra chaos)
I only have 1 cluster and it's not filled out yet as I can't drop alira atm and i'm missing the 8% penetration notable and the jewel sockets from the adv tree, as I can't transition with my current gear/resists.

I have a mageblood, but my flasks are rolled defensively, so mageblood isn't much help on damage(shock). Currently only my diamond benefits in terms of raw dmg/being active (which it anyway would be obviously in a boss kill).

Shortly said, i'm far away from the min/max that the POB represents and i'm pulling off 56% vs guardians already and will get to 60% on bosses like Sirus by the time I'm even just in the neighborhood of min/max gear.

I will try the thead of hope setup to see how easier it is, still i dont feel any issues with my mana. It is true i kinda struggle for my resist though. Anyway i love the move speed for clearing withthis setup

currently i'm level 89. 1 life (Ci), 4.6k ES, max resist for fire, cold, lightn.

i still dont understand why i keep dying in enclosed spaces, especially dungeons and rogue harbor contracts (where the mobs keep spawning like mad after i steal the contract item).

i've completed t10 rare yellow maps, but i simply can't do any mid-70s rogue harbor contracts (which are all practically dungeons layout anyway). i really wanna do contracts so i can convert the rogue's marker to some exalts.

question 1) please suggest what i can improve on...

I don't see any Pierce on your gear or tree, probably the most important part of the guide

You can get Pierce on a jewel, a glove implicit or a talisman for cheap.

i just blindly followed the guard skill that author socketed in his shoes. but shoes with those sockets and links were kinda expensive, so i socketed in cheap gloves instead lol.

i compared the your build and mine a bit and i think i got the difference.
Oestergreen build is running a low level clarity.

On my side i am running a level 17 clarity and i have no issue. I also dont use bear trap or sigil anymore. I have tested that using sigil and arcanist brand burns all your mana and a low level clarity cant make up for it to spam traps. Lots of mana and mana regen surely helps in that case.

I have no issue because at some point you dont need no extra damage anymore to kill bosses, so i ditched sigil, bear trap and kept only arcanist brand. I am just running a level 17 clarity, 80 mana pool and spamming traps like hell (with +40% speed from clusters) at ease.

Anyway, in your original post you said you are aiming oestergreen damage threshold, keep in mind that since Oestergreen is not using swift assembly like your, the damage threshold is doubled.
