We get EK at level 1 and Animate Weapon from Breaking some eggs. That should carry us hard. 10 animated weapons right from the getgo. We can add BV after Merveil once we have 10 weapons.
If the weapons are as good as I think they will be buffing them might be a good idea. It should make Carrion Golem the best golem for leveling too.
It should be possible to link Animate Weapon to weapon support gems. Stuff like Lesser Poison, Melee Physical etc.
Added Cold and Lightning Damage works aswell. This should give us a really good leveling tool.
The first gem I might add is Summon Phantasm. This gets you a really nice army. All you need to do is casting EK somewhere refreshing AW if needed.
Thanks to the changes to AW only the gem level of AW should matter.
*edit* Currently testing the setup. I get the problem now. I always thought Blade Vortex would keep the stacks unless you keep casting it once every so often. Each stacks falls off individually. That is horrible!
Hmmm. Yeah league will be interesting. So much stuff to try.

Just got to maps. I've had to use a high level clarity to sustain mana and can only afford to run HoAG and Clarity at the moment.
I've got the one mana leech node but am I missing something else to sustain this? I know end game we want the -mana chest but that's going to be a little while I recokon.

Yeah, grab 1 or 2 mana gained on hit jewels, that should fix your mana issues completely.

God leveling with Cobra Lash sucks, especially the single target! Anyone has recommendations? Im like i n act 5 and my ST is awful.

I actually started testing kbolt/spellslinger+ek (or bladefall) leveling today. Even before spellslinger, Kbolt is alright. You can give that a try.

Use an enduring divine mana flask.

I switched to KB and powersiphon as soon as I can, it takes time for the damage to increase. My mistake was not leveling powersiphon and it's support gems at the get go. By the time I reached act 7, things went much more smoothly.

I used spellslinger with arc, then added wave of conviction and now glacial cascade. This will get you too late '40s pretty easy. After that I just started using kinetic blast and power siphon, one-shotting every mob pack (except for rares and delirium) till 60~
