It increases the DPS of a single pod, but since the pod AOE is smaller it greatly decreases the number of pods which can affect a single entity. The pod spacing won't change with it either so you just do less damage overall.

Think of it like this:
Without conc effect
1.0 million DPS per pod x 5 pod overlap =5 million DPS

With conc effect
1.2 million DPS per pod x 3 pod overlap = 3.6 million dps and also more inconsistency.

One of the things that makes TR have better single target than essence drain is that the pods can overlap and the DOTs stack (I think this is the only example of DOT stacking in the whole game). By decreasing th radius of the AOE, you are decreasing your ability to scale it by slightly increasing something that is already heavily scaled.

Well you can either use lucky augment, if you have any, or just augment anything and keep rerolling life with harvest till you get good enough tier.

Finally my first hunter amulet on SSF. And it is reall yeasy to craft now!



Took just like 10 alts to get +1 dex, regal cold damage, harvestcrafted it to cold resist, mastercraft chaos dmg, harvest craft it to dot multi, mastercrafted life, harvestcrafted to T1 life. Sadly i dont have any more good harvest crafts stored to go for better prefix now. It is a bad base, but i was gonna reroll it to talisman next anyway, so hopefully it gets some nice implicit soon! :-)

im kinda bummed about you not making it a onyx before crafting :D Good craft though.

fyi: You can sell 1g 1r 1b gem + amulet for an onyx

ps. you cant changed influenced items into talismans

Hey, if you are really short on chash then maybe it would be best to buy a 6 link bow: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Harvest/42EeD8t9 and use a dread essence on it for +2 https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Harvest/DVpJdH5 you can also buy porcupine (1.5 as short bow) or imperial legacy cards (1.45 as imperial bow) if that is cheaper than getting a bow. I'd get the short bow (porcupine) for putting a essence on it since it has 1.5 as. Shouldn't be hard to sell it either.

Damn, really? I didnt know about the talisman limits, thanks... well, lets say this is starter amulet, next one will be better :)
