I'm going for +skills/curse as the explode seems unnecessary. Just want more dps for sirus and the 20th simac phase really. Only place where I even want more.
I am unsure if it is random or not, but I have found in my simulacrum runs Wave 18 to be the hardest as two bosses have proced on that wave.
If a boss does not proc, I find even level 20 relatively easy as long as you just keep moving back and forth never stopping. I am running the basic Dendrobate version, with Bino's and no exploding.

Could someone take look and let me know what I should focus on upgrading next? My survival is still kinda weak and my damage on certain bosses (minotaur) is rough. Thanks.

Are you using items that explode your corpses? When you do that, you can starve Diadem of corpses that it needs for Feast of Flesh and can lead to this mana issue.
Some people have tried to experiment with Desecrate to cover this issue but I have not read if they have been successful or not.
Thanks for your reply. I have now set my profile to public. I am indeed using Asenath's Gentle Touch + Diadem, however I did not have this issue before switching to MOM. I hope there's a fix for this because right now this build seems unplayable.

you should probably focus on upgrading that chest from a tabula.
do check out the apep + golden rule + watcher's eye combo everyone is talking about. i just respecced into it today and it feels a lot more tankier

Before you used MOM, none of your damage went to your ES because of Eldritch Battery in helmet. Your ES was used entirely for skills, which allowed for relatively unlimited use of skills.
Once you switch to MOM, damage now gets applied your ES which is on your mana via Eldritch Battery. If you take enough damage, your ES will be depleted and if you only have a tiny amount of mana left due to Aura's, you won't be able to cast your skills as often as you might be wanting, especially if Diadem does not have corpses to use to refresh your ES quickly.

Makes sense, but I don't understand why my mana and ES is slowly depleting when there are no monsters around. Is that because of poison? But it's just my mana and ES, my life is full even when both hit 0.

If you've got blood rage up, that's probably what is ticking through your ES and mana. If you're like me, you've got enough life regen that you don't see it hitting your health pool at all, just your ES and mana. And only when you're at 0 stacks of poison on yourself, otherwise Apep's should be regenning your ES.

What chest do you recommend. I’m not wealthy enough to craft a curse or explode chest yet.
