i just have different standars of "good dps". usually it means that a8 juiced guard dies within 1-2sec.

best example is killing al hezmin before he even ports out from middle of arena.

With crit chest + bottled faith + inspiration/concentrated effect instead of inc. crit I get 12.5m DPS with one Circle of Fear and I'm still missing -9 cold res on helmet.

(7.45*756k*2+7.45*(268k+180k*2)/3)*0.98 = 12567.45k => 12.56m DPS

For Sirus/Bosses inc. critical strikes + max ES chest is still the better option I guess, though I killed A8 Sirus with this setup without a problem.

Any leveling tips?

756k is my Ice Nova dmg, which gets cast twice, because it get's cast on up to 2 Frostbolts and Ice Nova can shotgun

Cospris dmg:

7.45 is my Attack Rate

268k is my Frostbolt dmg, which shoots 3 projectiles, but can not shotgun

180k is my Ice Nova dmg, which gets cast twice, because it get's cast on up to 2 Frostbolts and ice nova can shotgun

Then you divide it by 3, because on each hit only 1 of 3 spells is triggered(Frostbolt, ice nova and frostbite)

Then you multiply that with your effective crit chance on your cyclone, in my case 98%.

Shotgun in PoE is a term used when a single cast with multiple projectiles/hits can hit the same target multiple times.

Frostbolt, even though it shoots 3 projectiles, can not shotgun.

Ice Nova, when it's expanding from 2 frost bolts, can shotgun.

Ok dumb question. If you removed cospri's all together or even just the frostbolt, would ice nova only trigger once at your characters location? That is the part i'm struggling with because the CoC chest has ice nova which is separate from the frostbolt mechanic. I realize that ice nova skill let's you chain ice novas if there is a frostbolt.

Yes, you got it.

You don't need the Frostbolt in the same link as the Ice Nova for the mechanic to work, when you cast Ice Nova you just need two Frostbolts on screen to cast it on.

If you don't have a Frostbolt to cast your Ice Novas onto, you cast them only once on your character.

Even though Frostbolt only does miniscule damage, compared to the 6l Ice Nova, it still doubles the DPS of your 6l Ice Nova.

Do I need to be conscious that my cursor is over my frost bolts in order for the cospri frostbolt/ice nova interaction to work? I have put several days into this character and never knew this interaction actually doubled my damage I feel I may have been missing out on, I was just playing this like it was a cyclone build.

Would anyone be so kind to have a look at my set up and give me some tips.
Just respect my normal coc cyclone into this build. Survivability definitely improved, but i feel lack of damage. I dont have all the end game gear, but what is the next item i need to be thinking about buying?
I think my crit chance isnt great for cyclone, but I dont know what i can do about it.

So this is what I have so far. With this setup I am res capped.
Can someone let me know if im at least on the right track for a strictly map clearing char here? I dont give a damn about boss killing I just want to wreck juiced t16s.
Im just hoping I havent wasted any currency with what I have bought.
Are there any glaring holes in my gear that I have missed?

This should allow me to buy a cheaper -res helm with just es on it and boots with just tailwind, correct?

I have a disc watchers on my boss killer im going to swap around where i need it.

I think im going to have to go with a cheap circle for now.
