Just want to say thanks, started this league as a bv assassin. I was wrecking all content but sirus i was a little squishy. Swapped to this and got sirus 8 down and still do elder and shaper deathless just takes a little longer since my dps is lower than the bv poison. Good write up and guide!!

I can add uber elder to the list as well, i just started playing poe last league so this is pretty awesome thanks again.

Well... the play style is kinda neat I guess but there's just not enough damage there for what I spent.
Just ran enough maps to spawn sirus. All T14/T15 chisel alch and go.. tossed some deli orbs on a few of them.

Defenses feel pretty nice even without the watchers eye socketed, but my HoA mana guardian clears maps faster than I can manage with this and he facetanks A8 sirus with less than half the budget put into it.

Pretty sure at this point im just going to sell all this off and buy a HH for my bow bleed glad instead.
Cool build, just dont understand all the hype. It doesnt really excel at anything but looking cool imo. I was looking for a super fast juiced mapper, this seems more of a decent all around currency pit.

+1, im following this build for days and my conslusion is similar - its way too expensive for the result you get. Mapp clearing speed is nice but you will have problem with bossing (low dps and can die quite easy imo).

If youre typical guy that plays the game and not farming like crazy 10exa per day (like me, i still dont have full juiced gear) you will struggle until you invest this 100-150exalts. Last league i cleared all content in 1/5 of investment.

no thats the problem.. i sold off most of the gear today and made 150ex and still have a good 25-30ex in the sale tab. I made a nice chunk of profit as I spent around 120ex so I know I didnt shop poorly, but with that level of investment I expected a bit more honestly. Started digging into the min/maxing and realized id have to spend another 50+ to change to the 2x circle type and pull a bunch more res out of my ass to get the damage I was looking for and in the end I just didnt really care for the play style. Not upset at all, it was a fun experience building it and learning these skill mechanics and I made big profit on people wanting to jump on board. Just sharing my experience as someone that is not typically spending this on one build and grinded hard to save up for this.

With this and other similar builds/guides becoming so popular and how crazy the market for some of these things are right now, imo you gotta spend closer to 200 even with smart shopping spread out over several days looking for deals like i did or just absurd amounts of crafting. FFS i sold a GD cinderswallow for 6 exalts a couple hours ago.. what the actual fuck is that.

I absolutely love the herald of ice explosions, its been one of my favorite skills in POE since my first character back in like 1.0 so I really really really wanted to like this build but it quickly reminded me why I stick with ranged MS builds and have avoided cyclone like the plague since it got buffed.

If you have an absurd amount of currency and are just looking for a money pit to sink it all into, its a pretty fun build. Im just going to buy a HH after a few more of these things sell though.

can someone explain clearly if we need the cdr gear or not? cause im almost balling out of this shi build and look at my gear....(missing belt cause again im not sure if i spend on this or not)

As we have said before, DPS doesn't feel great until you are fully invested. It is an extreme luxury build (being that it is tank & cyclone). That is why you are paying a premium.

I mean, that's litterally the first thing written in the guide.
You need 100-200 ex to make this build feel good, or any Cospris build for that matter. I've played the fire conversion/life version last season with simmilar investment and I've played the CI Mjölnier BL version earlier this season and this is IMHO the most powerfull iteration of CI CoC.

5-10m DPS with 8-12k ES, HoI explosions, 1k+ ES recovery/sec and big chills and freezes

You're still missing a lot of gear on your character.
No t1 Acc roll, any crystal belt will provide more ES than your current belt, no tailwind, you can easily get 90-100 more ES on your gloves and you're missing a passive on your large cluster jewel. You could've gotten most of this + a decent ES ring instead of a 2nd dmg/buff circle of fear.

Cooldown reduction is a very important stat in our build, cause there are Breakpoints we can hit to cast more often Ice Nova with Cast on Critical through Cyclone.

BP0 At 0-13% CDR you need to stay below 6.06 APS

BP1 At 14-51% CDR you need to stay below 7.57 APS

BP2 At 52%-57% CDR you need to stay below 10.1 APS

In the End we need to get the BP1 Breakpoint, so wee need atleas 14% CDR

you can get the stats on Boots, Belt or the awakening gem @lvl.3

If this would be wrong (Which it isn't) I'm pretty sure Kami would've changed that info already.

When do you go for chaos inoculation? Not sure when it's safe to drop my HP down to 1. Also is there any way to salvage the value on the % life gain passive points after you get chaos inoc?
