Thank you for this guide! Really had so much fun with this build ~ Still trying to min-max the build ! I did smth different which is going for dual curse setup (crafted a +curse on amulet) and sacrificed tempest shield since we are max block with Rumi's. So stacking frostbite + elemental weakness will overall increase the damage output. I'm only left with few minors things such as getting 100% hit , 100% crit (with no flask) and recover es% on block. Everything else is good

As you wrote, with bad gear (mostly 10ex invest) it's damn squishy and not being able to run mastermind's lair without dying 1000x times.

Time to move on to a better build.

Well you didn't read the important part about breakpoints. You need to have atleast 14% cdr. You have 0. Cdr is important since it determines how many novas get casted.

Kami has awakened cast on crit gem which gives you cdr. You have the normal version which doesnt give any cdr. If you run the normal cast gem you need cdr on belt or boots.

This is 100% your damage problem because the rest of your gear, gems and tree is ok.


"Cooldown reduction is a very important stat in our build, cause there are Breakpoints we can hit to cast more often Ice Nova with Cast on Critical through Cyclone.

BP0 At 0-13% CDR you need to stay below 6.06 APS

BP1 At 14-51% CDR you need to stay below 7.57 APS

BP2 At 52%-57% CDR you need to stay below 10.1 APS

In the End we need to get the BP1 Breakpoint, so wee need atleas 14% CDR

you can get the stats on Boots, Belt or the awakening gem @lvl.3

If you have higher aps with your cyclone then the BP you got, you start missing casts from Ice Nova and loose a bunch of dps"

In your PoB? Yeah, but in reality i dont think so. How are u generating frenzy charges since you have them up in your setup?

Love the playstile and I feel pretty tanky. Got about 150-200ex invested, but I do feel like the damage is lacking.
Went only for the awakened gem which should bring me to the 1st tier of CDR.
Any tips on how to improve this? Would really like to make this build work.

Havent looked at ur PoB, just ur profile and the first things that came to my mind are:

1. Ice nova helmet enchant, expensive but worth it
2. Tailwind boots, i believe u can have tailwind without breaking ur BP2 with aps
3. Reach BP3 and then u can go double corrupted cospri with frenzy charges (see my profile)
4. Aspect of the spider
5. Watcher's eye with Precision crit multi, expensive with discipline tho
6. Ele pen on boots enchant

jesus mate stuf please your gear is not even 20ex wtf are you talking about.

A lot of the items required for this build used to be a lot more expensive a month+ ago, i.e. awakened coc non-lvled was 30-35ex, circles of fear 20+ex each etc.
Not to mention that his weapon alone is worth more than 20ex, so I suggest you get a clue first, before you mouth off.

Also, you might want to delevel that arcane surge, since you're not sustaining it and remove the attack speed enchant from gloves, since you are nowhere near the 3rd coc breakpoint.
When you're blindly following a guide w/o understanding any of it, at least follow it to a tee.

I think I've reached the limit of what I can do this league.

788k dps per ice nova and 14K500 ES !



This build was very fun and strong (even agaisnt bosses).

Tanky as fuck, depth 1000 still easy and safe.

I'll probably play this build next league !
