[3.9] CoC Volatile Dead Assassin - 1M+ Per Ball Explosion - All Content Easy

Hello everyone and welcome to my guide about my CoC Volatile Dead Assassin.

First, I'd like to mention that I "created" this build when I saw Magefist's video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OnmzEq3FCos).
I just added my own spin on it and more currency to make it even better than it already was.

But first, why should you play this build?


Pros:
- Fast mapping
- Fast and easy bosses
- Good damage
- Can be played on a budget

Cons:
- High end optimization requires currency investment
- Can't do ele reflect/no regen maps

You can level as anything you want. I used BV until I got a tabula, at which point I started using a CoC setup in it. And then you just slowly grind currency to afford the rest of the gear. :)

Thanks for posting, volatile dead is one of my favourite skills, good to see its still being used in interesting ways.

How would you push the damage (not that you need to) with more currency? element weakness on hit on gloves + whispers of doom annoint? CDR on belt? Or at this point its just worth focusing on defence?

I might try this but give up divine judgement (4 points) pickup 4x5% life nodes and craft a fire leech vermillion ring (fire leech implicit circle is expensive) that gives you about +700hp. Its a more budget friendly version, although a decent loss in damage.

I see you skipped +1 frenzy charge nodes, do you think they aren't worth it?

Excluding the +1 volatile enchant, are there any other good enchants for this build? the main ones I'm thinking of are +15% attack speed barrage, +30% effect flammability, perhaps +3 corpse desecrate?

Either way, fun looking build, finally got something to sink a decent amount of currency into now.

Hello, I am glad you like the build.
To push the DPS even further beyond, even though it is not necessary as you said, you could indeed use an Ele weakness curse corruption on the gloves and get Whisper Of Doom on the amulet. But you would lose a lot of survavibility by doing so.
Honestly I think at this point, the damage is more than ok. I can kill the conqueror before they do anything (even Drox, I can burst him down before he gets in his damage reduction phase), the map bosses get annihilated and same for the Metamorphs.
You should prioritize defense rather than offense because even with 6k+ life you can still get one shotted quite easily if you're unlucky with your dodge chance.

The option of using a Vermillion ring is quite good. I have been experimenting myself with an opal ring instead of a second circle of anguish (check my profile) and you almost don't feel the damage loss.

I skipped the frenzy charges nodes to focus on life and accuracy (especially in the intuitive leap slot).

Honestly +1 VD is the BEST enchant you can get. But I know that it is expensive. Flammability effect would probably be the second best option, although I haven't checked in PoB.

Would be nice to have some leveling steps like 30 points, 60 points, 90 points and final build :)

Whats the best way to approach crafting the bow? Just user Aetheric fossils? or better in a combo?

Only Leech is from the fire leech implict? Are there any other options as that ring if 20 ex or so atm?

Don't know much about crafting, I bought it as is.
And yes, only leech is from the ring implicit.
Other option would be to drop one circle of anguish and get leech on a rare ring. It's way cheaper
