[3.13] Doomfletch Split Arrow Mines - Starter Viable - End Game Capable - High Damage, Low Budget
I wonder if high impact mine support would be higher DPS for bossing as you can pre-fire 23 mines. Also I am going to experiment with barrage skill (not support) for single target as barrage support is tough on most bosses given long delay.

I'm playing this build in delirium, and it's wonderful, but i really don't know which equipment i should improve next, need sugestions.
This is my atm equipment: |

you wanna get non corrupted ammy and anoint that passive that gives you power charges from traps, big upgrade
also i'd lean towards veiled craft for helm+amulet mine throw speed, its big QOL, lower clunkiness of mines is crucial, damage is high anyway oh also 120 crit if you havent crit on boots is pretty big, its permanently up for us (same as for totem character because we never crit, our mines do) Последняя редакция: aerial#6615. " Yes, it does, but not sure anything beats a Coated Shrapnel. " Doomfletch itself isn't that important, but Coated Shrapnel is. Considering you'll be using the bow forever though, you might as well get a good one. 1% is 1%! " We just want it for the damage. The minions will very rarely appear, since we do not get the kills, our mines do. The only time you will see a minion is if your poison or burn kills an enemy, not the hit. That's not likely to happen except for when you kill an "Allies can't die" pack, as the poisons will immediately kill the small guys. " 3 reasons: 1, chat asked me to try it. Lol. 2: I didn't want to recolor my bow to test out Swift Assembly, and 3: Minefield is really slow without any mine throwing speed. I don't have my unveils yet to craft on the Helm and Ammy, and I don't have quality on my Mine gems. Slow minefield kept killing me in Delirium encounters. " That's all mines, unfortunately. :( It's why I list it as the first con in my pros/cons section. Some people hate the playstyle. " Shakari/Arakaali, because dots are a bitch. But pantheons are pretty meh, so it doesn't really matter. " I started it NP. You can afford the Doomfletch by the time you hit 28, same with the jewels. It still works as a 4l, but the 6l doesn't need to be in the bow. Random 6l chest till you can afford a 6l bow/Kaom's is fine, but I didn't have a 6l until level 85. " " 100% agree, kind of a pain in the ass, tbh. " High impact mines only offers 23% more damage for a full stack (2%*23)/2, where Blastchain offers 55%. (5%*22)/2. Can elaborate more on that in another comment, but this one is getting long. As for Barrage Support vs barrage, Barrage actually does less damage than Split Arrow, so if you're considering Barrage (Not support), just use the normal Split arrow bow instead. It's still got really good ST damage. I've mentioned it a lot, but making barrage less clunky makes it far worse at what it's intended to do - one shotting bosses where you can preload 23 mines before they go active. IMO, I'd rather reserve the Barrage links for the "perfect" occasion to use it, instead of trying to make it something else. |

Someone pm'd me in game asking for an update, been pretty busy irl - having to work unlike all you lucky folk! and a bit of just chilling as well.
Made it to maps. I gotta say leveling wise - while I am no pro PoEr, this build gave me the best leveling experience, I just destroyed kitava, like, ehr, literally. I was kinda in disbelief because how hard it usually is, and well, it just flopped over. I posted my resistances somewhere, lemme see if i can find them, I completely league startered this and my stats were as follows Well resistances after kitava 2 ;p, so I had a lot of work to do. Now into low tier maps, highest i've done is a 6 so far, I HAVENT DONE FINAL LAB YET. I was finding my squishyness a problem, especially on a budget, im currently level 81 at 3.2k hp, so I do expect things to get into the range of oneshotting. When i finish final lab, I will most likely feel tankier, I did already, by adding a CWDT setup, as it mitigates some of the risk. I should point out the 3 watchstones I have also acquired were all a joke. Baran died in one set of mines, Drox 1 in 2, due to his phases, and Drox 2 in about <1minute because i just played poorly. Got myself a nomad, and 200 Strength, it's helpful. I doubt I will move away from the nomad for another for now purely because currency and things :P. Delirium is sketchy, sometimes its great, sometimes its not. First thing I'm aiming for now is a good Guilt Ring, though the bonuses we want are making it in the range of 1ex +, so I think i might hold off on it. Currently still able to run all auras, no enlighten, that'll just make it so i can run bone-chill on skitter and level the auras more efficiently when i get guilt as well. So I think it's actually a point to aim for a 6L doomfletch, and then get a Kaom's. I'm generally not a fan of Kaom's builds, but It'll get me a chunk of HP i desperately need going into higher tier maps. Though before i accumulate enough, I'll most likely rebuy coated sharpnels for perfect rolls, and get the correct flasks, playing without flasks is an actual pain! Any suggestions greatly appreciated. I'll repost eventually, I just forgot about it. Current gear

Any recommend Cluster Jewel? Worth it?
|
|
Using this to level, still too low for the Prism but having fun. (I'm a slow player and/or don't have huge amounts of time.) A couple of questions:
(1) Why Herald of Purity? We don't summon sentinels, and added damage is tiny at low level. (And Circle of Guilt is going to be crazy expensive mostly). Does it happen to scale really well at high level or something? It feels like Flesh and Stone would be a better use of that 25%. (Other Heralds wouldn't work either, since we never kill nor hit anything.) (2) Why not Charged Mines? Not a big deal obviously but Frenzy/Power Charges are always nice. |

Hey @BlaydeX15 incredible build, to single and clear...
But I have a question? Why are we stack a lot of physical damage to buff doomfletch's, but in the endgame we taking gloves and passive with "physical damage convert to cold damage"? Are we don't losing 66% damage from this physical converted(on doomfletch)? |

Hey!
Great build so far, it's really a lot of fun to play with, i definetly recommend it! I have one question regarding the cluster : Do you think any of the new cluster jewels could be good or added to the build ? I don't know if you alread tested some ? | |
" Doesn't work that way, it adds phys damage first, then you get gain physical as extra elemental from that, and then physical is converted to cold. Reason why this extra conversion of phys to elemental adds bit of damage, because its affected by elemental damage with attacks support, which doesn't affect physical component of our damage. It is same principle as eternity shroud armor. It makes you gain extra chaos damage from elemental damage, but it does it each time you convert it independently. So for example you start with lightning spell (get extra chaos from lightning), then you convert this damage to 100% cold with 2 brotherhood rings, and you get extra chaos calculated from that cold damage again, and then you convert 3rd time with cold to fire support, and get extra chaos again from fire damage (your final damage will be 0% lightning, 50% cold 50% fire and shitload of chaos from each stage). |
