It's a great build and definitely league-starter viable in trade league. The DPS is pretty insane when everything is put together correctly.

Can we not just level as spellslinger until we get the poet's pen?

" Its doable, but spell slinger does not trigger fast enough and a triggered bladefall only creates half the blades on the floor. thats like 9 blades every 0.4-5 seconds. Wont be as reliable and the damage will probably suck against bosses. Clear wise i think its decent. I started the build as a spell slinger poet pen hybrid but i moved out of spell slinger just because i want a higher blade/second to maximize bladeblast's damage My Builds/Stream

I saw they buffed the physical damage pen (now called "overwhelm") on Master of Force notable but removed the double damage. But it looks like they didn't really change the cluster jewel notables that this build uses, except for knocking 10% crit chance off Pressure Points. Plus I think the change to Herald of Purity is better for this build as it now gives 12% more physical damage.
Should be good to go for league start right? |

" Basically untouched, very safe to do, especially without the delirium shit in every map, league start will be decently smooth based on the economy around poet's pen, which wont be heavily impacted considering most are doing spellslinger VD My Builds/Stream

I also want to point out that we pass right by the new notable anointed flesh, and, for three points, we can get 1% to all max ele resist, 10% to ele resists, and 50% reduced effect of shock. Pretty good value. Plus we can get an extra 45% increased elusive effect from the new elusive cluster.

Have you thought about dropping Poet's Pen and trying to make this a Spellslinger?
