[3.11] CoC Ball Lightning Assassin - 20M+ Shaper DPS/10k ES/fortify - League Starter Guide Included

Finally managed to get my weapon#
The flat added Lightning damage was the biggest pain - spent around 2ex on harvest crafts but it paid out with t1 roll.
Got lucky at the craft bench again for max Spell damage roll.

Now I just wait for the cluster jewel update and get Overlord.

So I rolled this from a harvest craft today. I'm a pretty big noob to crafting, but I think this with these suffixes this is a very good target to try and craft. Any advice on how to proceed?

Use remove crafts to remove everything but the crit modifiers and the attack speed then multimod or use harvest augments, however, removing the mana will prove difficult and require an annul to hit. I would not reccomend dedicating too many resources to crafting on this base.

Because of the high attack speed, you need 52% CDR to use it properly. If you have less than 52% CDR, then this sceptre is not good for you.

If you decide to proceed with this sceptre, I'd suggest using "reroll mods while keeping suffixes" seedcraft followed by metacrafting, but it will cost a lot of currency. This is what you do when you reach the point where you can't find any cheap (let's say <30 ex) upgrades.

Just transitioned to CI with 6k ES. Feels like shit now. I'm gonna go ahead and recommend that people don't do this as a league starter, and pretty much only try it if they can already afford the endgame gear. I'm pretty sure I'm quitting the league since I put all my money into something that doesn't work.

How did you craft it?

I bought the base karui with mods
spell damage and critical strike chance with other bad mods, so i remove the bad mods with seeds and crafted what i wanted, the last thing i get is the +1 lightning with add and remove lightning mod "blue seed t1"

While this wasn't my league starter, the life-based version in the leveling section of the guide is definitely capable of doing end-game content with a low level of investment, and could have been league-started easily. It sounds like you transitioned to CI before you were ready, maybe before you had any ES on hit, which there's not really any reason to do.
