I used this boots just to test if it would make a huge diffrence on damage if i get this Cooldownrecovery rate.

unfortenatly i cant post the Pob link since i didnt save another Template then the one i posted. Right now i modded around a little, tested with timeless jewel and shield. But thats not what this thread should be about. Its about the Build like in the video. And why it(or my copy of it) doesnt work as intended.

The build in the video and the related PoB are using basically perfect items. It has a second cospri's, you're using First Snow for some reason? Their PoB has 'perfect' jewels - all have life, crit, crit. Atziri's Promise is huge for survivability. They're blinding and chilling enemies on hit thanks to pandemonius, you're buffing them thanks to Extractor Mentis.

Seems to me it's not one specific thing, it's a culmination of things that make their version far more able to survive vs yours.

Edit: Atziri's Promise is leeching them 400 hp PER HIT. Simply using this flask would increase survivability massively for you.

So, I guess you want to know if CoC ice nova builds are good or bad in general.

First of all, I'm not a big fan of CoC ice nova builds because they are a glass cannon. You are not the first person to complain about dying too often with the build.

But there are a lot of people who leveled to 98-100 as a CoC ice nova assassin. See POENinja. This means that CoC ice nova is good enough to do endgame contents without dying too often, if you have enough currency and experience.

So, my opinion is that CoC ice nova is an Ok build. If you are dying in maps too often, you are doing something wrong.

If you compare your PoB and one given by the guide creator, you can see that you have less than 1/3 of DPS. You don't have the pandemonius, which means your survivability is more than halved (no blind + no 30% slow). There are a lot of upgrades you can make.

The wise oak is not just a bonus. It gives you 16% more damage if you use it right. Funny thing is that even the PoB given by the guide creator doesn't use this flask right. So, I guess it's reasonable that you missed the importance of this flask.

Flasks can never be underestimated. Use the recommended ones. You should not waste 3 flask slots for life and mana flasks.

Well in the end you are right... my damage is much lower then his. And the Atztiri Flask can be realy a little boost for surviability!

Fixing all the small things should give me alot of the missing more damage (includings flask,level,jewel,watchers eye ) but in the end the charakter will be still as squishy as it is?

Maybe i just expected to much.

He makes pretty mediocre builds in all aspects that are wrongly advertised as something they are not also sneaky enough most of the times that he doesn't show build performance vs true endgame.

Would love to see how this build that "Annihilates Deliriums" survives Simulacrum with close to 0 defenses, no warding flask and Abysus. A joke...

i see a lot of problems in your build:

- your resistance are very low
- cooldown recovery 12% (need at minimal 14%)

i share you a pob of my coc build, no need a lot of exalt and i kill siruis aw8, shapper, elder, delirium 20 wave and 100% delirium without problems.


near pain attenuation, i use Glorious Vanity Timeless Jewel (Doryani), that provide me 20% of me life on energy shield.

i have 4300life + 1500 ES, 75% res, 50% block.
i have more than 600 000 dps with each ice nova and more than 90 chance to hit.

important, i have more than 14% cooldown recovery speed that allow me to have 7.5 action per seconds (APS)

i maxed my build with more es (but i sell the stuff and dont save it in my pob)
- sheild, with a lot of ES and spider,
- helmet -> ES and ice nova enchantment.
- body amour -> 650ES - 5% es on kill
i hit 3k life and 4k ES.

the more important is:
resistance, cooldown, gloves with accuracy, boots with 30% movement speed (clear speed is the more important)

1) Overall, your items are bad
2) You need cooldown recovery speed - at least 14%
3) No Corruped Blood?
4) Why First snow? Get frozen trail (With corrupted blood)
5) Get a decent Watcher's Eye - Cold penetration with Hatred + any good mod
6) Get better Boots
7) Gems 20/20 or better
8) Get better helmet, with ice nova damage and cold penetration
9) Need better flasks - why 2 life flasks? Use Wise Oak (correctly) ans promise, at least
10) Need better jewels - life + 2 damage mods
11) Ring or gloves with curse on hit - like poacher mark, ele weakness, assassin mark...
12) Cluster Jewels are nice to use
13) Use Divine in your Mark Of the Shaper - spell damage is low
14) If have money, buy circle of fear with buff e increased cold damage
15) For more survival you can try Glorious Vanity (Doryani) and Lorewaeve with 78% res

This is a glass cannon build, so it invests in high damage. You need to delete everything in front of you as soon as possible.

Allright thanks evryone, i toke a look at your posts and i appriciate it. But in the end i decided that this build is nothing for me. I need something with way more survivability to compensate my slow fingers ^^


but what still bothering me is this breakpoint thing... why does it make a BIG diffrence if i have 12 insteasd of 14% cooldown recovery? i mean shouldn that be just a very very small diffrence?

Yes his guides and videos are Great cinematic and truthfully he has good videos that are clear and concise but the problem is his builds are never that amazing at the end even if you go with his "whale versions".
