[3.21] Aegis Incinerate Elementalist - Tank with over 10mil Shaper DPS!
" I will reiterate what Chubby said. I don't craft at all either and rely entirely on the trade site. 1) Ignore unset rings entirely. You don't need one. 2) Ignore the other nodes on the megalomaniac. You only need Overlord. The other two are only luxury. If they don't work with the build, just don't allocate them. Just make sure the Overlord is one of the outside nodes so that you don't waste any tree points 3) The belt is VERY expensive this league. I could not afford it, so I used Petrified Blood instead. You can read back in the thread for where the build owner explains how to use it in place of the belt. It worked very well for me. You don't need to worry about the Watcher's Eye either when you do this. Последняя редакция: AndyLovesHisBge. Время: 25 авг. 2021 г., 13:14:13

such a excellent guide, thank you! i have played many builds that just struggle with end game content, this build so far is solid. I am currently using the Windshriek reinforced greaves to apply the 2nd curse, saves me a few skill points, (I will see how the build goes without nature's patience)
I am using a rare amlut that that reduces mana reserve of determination, so no need to take the reduce reserve nodes on the left side of the tree, (Enlighten, discipline, arctic armour and determination all work) Thanks again, keep up the great work
" I can't see your character because your profile is private but those sound like interesting choices! As some one who has played this build a lot over many leagues, I will say though that I STRONGLY recommend Nature's Patience. It is absolute perfect synergy with the recommended boots and is an insane amount of power for just two tree points. Последняя редакция: AndyLovesHisBge. Время: 4 сент. 2021 г., 10:32:17

Does this build work well without the drop only gems, and the alt quality skills? im just starting out so i dont have access to them yet
" It does :) Alt quality gems is really just minmaxing. Btw, Andy has proven that this build works from zero for the past 3 or 4 leagues :)
I have one more question, its a little confusing as to what hextouch does.. Im running out of space on my bar for flammability and elemental weakness, if i cast one.. does hextouch cast the other when i hit? or is that for reckoning in that link
" Reckoning hits the enemy and because of the Hextouch support, it will apply both curses at once (only when you take the Whispers of Doom node on the tree, which allows the build to apply 2 curses on enemies)
oh thats awesome okay, so i dont need them on my bar, when reckoning procs they will just cast
" That is correct. It is fantastic QOL. Just make sure you have Whispers of Doom allocated. Until that time, only link Flammability to Hextouch and Reckoning. Add in Elemental Weakness after you allocate Whispers of Doom. |

I am nervously awaiting the nerfs which might kills us (recovery on block looks prime to be nuked) but the first items released today give our build a little buff in the Pantheon areas of Brine King and Tukohama. We will be freeze immune now.
Soul of Tukohama: Now grants “While stationary, gain 3% additional Physical Damage Reduction every second, up to a maximum of 9%” (previously 2%, up to a maximum of 8%). Upgraded Soul of Tukohama no longer grants “While stationary, gain 0.5% of Life Regeneration per second every second, up to a maximum of 2%”. Instead, it now grants “Regenerate 2% of Life per second while stationary”. Soul of Brine King: Upgraded Soul of the Brine King Pantheon now grants “Cannot be Frozen”, instead of “You cannot be Frozen if you’ve been Frozen Recently”. |
