Just finished Kitava act 10.
LT on a 4-link.
Auras : Wrath, Discipline, Zealotry, Vitality.

All stuff is solo self-found.

But now it's high time I bought some decent stuff !

I think about two possibilites : either the Standard version with Light of Lunaris shield (~12c) + Singularity sceptre (1c). 25% more DPS.

Or I can try some new stuff :
- The Annihilating Light staff
- Crystallised Omniscience amulet
That would be 120% more DPS !
Very tempting indeed... We want to annihilate after all, right ?

What are the advantages of Trickster vs Elementalist? Also, how does the clear feel? Thinking I might give this a go.

idk if I'm doing something wrong, but this is the most squishiest build I've ever played as a league starter :P dps is fine and optics and flashyness is pretty awesome

It is a channeling skill, u stand still to attack. It will always be a squishy build with low investment.

Wanted to try this as my league start, but went with explosive arrow. Maybe wen I have accumulated extra currency I will give this build a try.

I prefer Trickster for the Frenzy and Power charges. Also, for endgame, I plan to use Secrets of Suffering, so the guaranteed 15% shock from Elementalist becomes useless.

Yes, the build has issues with defenses, especially at the beginning.
The 10 acts went fine, mostly, but the start of the Atlas was awful. I was getting rekt by everything : Ritual, Legions, Archnemesis, Metamorph... It's been atrocious.

Now, I have bought some better gear and it feels better.

Clear is fine with Orb of Storms + Chain.
Single target on 5-link LT is ok.

I need to add cold dmg to chill and freeze, which is a very good defense.
Call of the Brotherhood ring is not too expensive.

In the first msg, I will specify that the build is not suitable for league start.
Because to feel really good, the build needs Corrupted Soul, so as to split the dmg between ES and life.

Ok, hopefully I stand corrected : you don't need Corrupted Soul for the build to feel good.
You need Divine Shield on the tree.

As most monsters deal a portion of physical dmg, you get a lot of ES regen. So you seldom run out of Eldritch Battery.
I should have allocated it earlier, it would have made the beginning of Atlas less painful.

Now, I can define the minimum requirements for the build :

- 5L LT
- Orb of Storms + Chain
- Mind Over Matter + Eldritch Battery + Divine Shield
- Call of the Brotherhood ring + Trinity support on LT
- Frost Shield
- Assassin's Mark

Bought it white (23c), then I just put 20% quality and a Deafening Essence of Greed to guarantee +120 life.

Bought an amulet with cold dmg leeched as life (5c)

Next steps are gonna be :

- Enduring Composure for Endurance Charges
- Viridi's Veil helmet + a magic ring in right slot = hexproof + enemies are unlucky
- Determination + Purity of Elements + Zealotry in the helmet

Handcrafted magic ring :


Amulet with cold dmg leeched as life (20c)


900k DPS with Stronger Pulse.
Curse and ailment immune.
Enduring Composure + 4 Endurance charges.

Failed against Infinite Hunger, because its Corrosion debuff destroys the armour ; with Divine Shield, it becomes impossible to regen ES. The solution would be to remove Divine Shield for the fight. But well, not an ideal solution.

Also, failed against the Black Star, for lack of DPS.

Now, I will need the expensive upgrades :
- Enlighten gem (1.5ex) to add Zealotry.
- Coward's Legacy belt (1.5ex) for low-life
- The Interrogation (2ex) for Secrets of Suffering.

This would double my DPS.

Detailed gearing



Enlighten support being too expensive atm (1.7ex), I've bought a small cluster with Righteous Path notable (50% mana efficiency for Zealotry).

Also bought a large cluster with Practiced Caster (avoid stun while casting), Essence Rush (inc dmg while leeching) and Arcane Adept (Arcane Surge after channeling for 1 sec).

Now, I need the Interrogation cluster to get Secrets of Suffering : i expect up to 33% more DPS.

Then it will be minmaxing process, with more life on the shield, better Eldritch implicits etc.
