I'd want to play your build as a league starter and most likely as an occultist.
Could you give me some general guildeline, how to progres through the skill tree? As I won't have the thread of hope jewels very soon, I feel a bit lost with your endgame version of the tree.

Do you transition from hybrid life/es directly to shavs? I usually respec to CI in between, when it's my first char in the league.

Any help would be welcome and I appreciate the effort you put into your build. It's very well written!

The thread of hopes are there to save some points and get some extra dps, i would take rune binder immediately and keep it even without thread of hope and path towards the other notables that arent too far(templar side/cold wheel north of witch)

Thread of hope doesnt make or break the build, it just improves it. Shavs and lowlife set up would be closer to what i feel make/breaks the build. Being able to run multiple auras and having 30% more dmg from pain attunement is key. Getting a shavs on week 1/2 should not be so hard(depends on league econ, it goes around 3 ex 1st week usually)

As a league starter, i would suggest focusing on vortex more for dps/clear because wintertide doesnt start being really strong until you have shavs up, the dps affects the clear speed significantly because we need to kill to have the aoe dot applying on enemies


Key notables we want asap would be elemental overlord, elemental equilibrum(if you run vortex as main dps), once you swap to wintertide full time, you want runebinder at all cost.

You need to have swiftbrand early on because you want the explosion to happen based off the duration asap

Was never a fan of glancing blow anyways because of wicked ward, i think blowing full damage with half the chance is better

Overall not much changes, but freed 1 point from glancing blow

Are you planning to update it for 3.13 and onwards? It looks pretty interesting and I would love to try Occultist but just want to make sure I am not making any mistakes along the way. Either way thanks and happy new year!

Probably will update it unless some nerfs comes in and destroy the build

Also interested in this build, saved it for 3.13 :P

Updated for 3.13, only dps buff and no nerfs.

Highly recommend occultist over trickster now
