Thanks, I use the Undying Evangelist spectres found in The Sceptre of God (A3)

They are used to apply combustion/exposure and provide us a proximity shield to block all outside projectiles.

It works really good, sometimes killing bosses insta. Nice choose on Undying Evangelist

Im playing it on SSF HC Harvest, level 75 no gear dependencies, just stack life, res, (self craft) +1 fire gems x 2

I change a bit the pasive tree to stack life, but the MAIN CORE still there

I ran this build starting out this league and it was okay. It got me through everything but didn't quite shine until I got a decent helmet/wand.

I suggest leveling with the skele version which will be a bit more smooth starting out and then transition into SRS once you get a bit of currency.

Somehow I want to replay this after 1 year, I guess it was buffed by cluster jewels.
Lets see whats the alternative quality does.

The SRS AI was supposed to be pretty good indoors as I remember but saw people on reddit that the skill is outdated and needs rework/dunno why.

One thing that really worries me is I m not good at math/numbers and never been a theorycrafter so it will be hard to find a sweet spot for how much hp /res is needed for my minions so dont die too fast/to late.

The AI pathing itself is fine, I think the main problem was that monsters completely ignore SRS and go straight for you which is a problem if you are defenseless. However this build gets several layers including zombies that also taunt for you. The other issue was mana cost which was a big problem for conventional SRS especially if you wanted want to run auras to scale their damage. However with this build, there isn't any aura that is gamechanging for Minion Instability so we opt for MoM with a high mana pool instead which alleviates the mana issue and also provides us a huge layer of defense.

You don't have to worry too much about getting minion resists or anything with this setup since it scales entirely for minion instability/infernal legion. The damage loss from their attacks on having 20 up at a time vs 10 is negligible once you have good gear. Degen sources are all scaled % so feel free to stack up as much hp as you'd like. Just make sure you don't go over the 20 limit so you can continuously cast without having to stop.

Are you going to update your build for 3.12?

Minions from Supported Skills take 10% of their Maximum Life as Fire Damage per second

Elemental Army Support Alternate Quality 1 Minions have 10% increased Area of Effect

Animate Guardian Alternate Quality 2 40% increased Minion Maximum Life

I won't be playing 3.12 but looking through the patch notes so far, this build seemed to dodge all the minion and cluster jewel nerfs aside from mistress of sacrifice (which will be a considerable hit to defences) but other than that it'll have the same dps/eHP ceiling. Realistically though, you'd probably only be able to obtain half of that potential without harvest.

There will likely be upgrades from the new content which might change a few things but you can use the same skill tree and gear from this thread as a reference to what you might want to look for.

Been playing this as my league starter going SRS all the way, felt pretty decent to level with without using infernal legion. Recently switched though and although the damage feels fine I'm confused at the 'afk blightend maps' part of the post title. I'm constantly resummoning my exploding SRS - how would you AFK a blighted map with this build?

Yeah you will still need to constantly summon the SRS which can easily be done by taping down your mouse button or using a paperweight or something. Once you get that set up you no longer need to physically be there.


Replace infernal legion with Minion Life if you are lacking damage.If you have mana issues, move steel skin into your wand trigger so you can regenerate 20% of your mana each time it activates.
