Played your previous necro one, which gave me enough confidence to start doing this without the full guide. I used SRS linked with phantasms support, and skeletons, alongside the zombies for levelling until spectres and CWDT became available.

I guess I would say that people who want to use the setups as soon as the gems become available would need to prioritise strength node passives or get some on gear a bit early.

Coming to the end of acts now, and it's feeling really good!

I have have a six slot five link chest, so I stuck frost blink in the unlinked blue slot. Being able to slide in and out of danger and chill enemies at the same time seems to work well at the moment. Not sure how it would work with the spirit of you guides and I'm sure I'll need more damage at some point though!

That's very kind of you. I appreciate your kindness.

I too found it really hard to get rid of the Slow-Mo with Zombies. The same thing idea and power exists with the Animate Weapon build though. TC is just as powerful, there are three curses, and that build does TONS more damage than SMZ did. And now Zombies is 4x stronger than the old SMZ as well. It's survivability just comes from a different place. All that being said, I think I'll be keeping a Slow-Mo Zombies in Standard for old-times sake ;)
