Armor and Evasion nodes not interacting properly with Iron Reflexes node

If a character has the Iron Reflexes node (which converts evasion to armor) and an Armor and Evasion node (+8% armor, +8% evasion), the 8% evasion bonus is entirely lost. It never gets converted to armor. The total bonus from that node is 8% armor, but it should be 8% armor + 8% evasion converted to armor = 16% armor.

Not all nodes are like this: the Leather and Steel skill, which adds +24% armor and +24% evasion, stacks correctly for a total of +48% armor.

You never get "both" bonuses, because it's just one bonus.

With Iron Reflexes, Evasion is increased by [Increased Evasion], [Increased Armor] and [Increased Armor and Evasion]. They're all Increased-type, so they stack additively.
L&S only ever applies once. This goes for both the small and large nodes, and is working as intended.

Looks like L&S has the same problem. Tooltip says it grants two bonuses (+24% armor and +24% evasion), but it only grants the 24% armor bonus if the character has Iron Reflexes. It's working consistently but gimping those nodes out of half their bonus.

L&S does apply multiple times, though - at least, the increased armor part of it does. Just tested it.

The description does not say it grants 24% Increased Armor and 24% Increased Evasion.
The description says it grants 24% Increased Armor and Evasion. It's one line, it's one bonus, it applies once. This has been tested and proven dozens of times.
(the second bonus on L&S is Ignore Movement Penalties from Armor)


For the stubborn, though, my Iron Reflexes-using Duelist:

I get 38% Increased Evasion from 190 Dex. No other Evasion, Armor or Armor-and-Evasion bonuses.
522 Armor and 566 Evasion from gear. Clv55, so 50+(55*3)= 215 Base Evasion. This should get me...
522 + ((566+215)*(1 + (38/100)) = 1599.78 Armor
My Character sheet lists 1600 Armor, so that's all working as expected.


Now I grab one 8% and one 24% Armor-and-Evasion node. My Armor shoots up to 2017. Let's see how that works out according to Mark's countless explanations regarding this subject:
(522 * (1 + (32/100)) + ((566+215)*(1 + (38/100) + (32/100)) = 2016.74 Armor

As you can see, the Armor-and-Evasion bonus is only applied once for Armor, and once for Evasion, even though I have Iron Reflexes. It never applies twice, it's working as intended, nothing is bugged.

As stated, L&S is one bonus (24%), which applies to either of two things (armour and evasion). And value which is armour or evasion receives that 24% bonus. evasion-converted-to-armour fits in that category, and thus gets the bonus. It doesn't, and can't, get the one bonus applied twice.
