i'm looking to upgrade gear and wondering about priority, i would think it's something like

1 bottled faith
2 despair curse on hit snake bit
3 corrupted pen with +AOE

does that sound right?

Do you keep your awakened spell cascade at level 1?

Bottled faith is 2nd/last with pen, the gloves with curse on hit is the right move to upgrade next

Nope, because the damage from bladefall is not bad, good enough to boost our dps. The slight loss from spread isnt an issue

I've been crushing all content, I still Dying against Cyrus cuz I'ts my first league against him and well, chaos dmg sucks, but elder/saper/uber elder/uber atziri/vaal temple/twins/maven (and maven challenges, just never roll increased area as advice xd), t15/16 blight etc, deathless. (With maven thing)

Been trying the harvest thing and made some things, but still working cuz bad fire rolls :c

U can use medium cluster with Overwhelming malice to have a 100% uptime unholy might. This saves flask slot.
Against sirus any jewel with Corrupted blood cant be inflicted on you can help. Other than this its just a bad boss with lots of dangerous mechanics and a rare opportunity to learn them. Need more practice and a more safe playstyle.

I was thinking about switching to this build from my current one simply because I pretty much can use everything i use now (except the weapon ofc and ring for the life on spell hit).

Iam worried about the immense visual clutter this build creates tho (PC is no issue). I absolutely obliterate Sirus with my current Poison BV build, but the second phase just rips me a new one. Being in close range to build up the stacks during the second phase wrecks me. I would consider this build way more efficient because you can spam the blade fall, move and repeat.

Also questions:

Can I use diadem in this build?
Can I use impressence with despair reserves no mana?

With my current build i apply despair and temp chains on hit (gloves). I can now run Precision (have the Watchers Eye ofc), Agony, Purity, Malevolence and Spider (and ofc a free Despair).

why we aim aoe increase in poen pen while we dont like increased aoe?

Go for despair on hit ring instead of snakebite so you can get a 2c temp chains on hit glove. very easy to get +1 curse in a variety of different ways that are easily accessible with this build. Temp chains is amazing for this build. If I only had 1 curse to pick with this build, a build already doing lots of damage, I'd take temp chains to get some extra defense, since it also boosts our damage.
You can get 2 curses really easily. I'm running 3 and could do 4 if I thought enfeeble was worth it.

You can get despair on hit/life gain on spell hit/life rings at a fairly reasonable price.

That is global AoE...we don't mind global AoE because it boosts blade blast AoE, what we do not want is specifically to increase the AoE of bladefall without benefiting blade blast.
